Houston family needs a part-time tutor for Art. My daughter will be entering 8th grade next semester. She loves drawing, and is especially interested in animation and digital art. She taught herself; she has had no formal training. She's interested in applying for HSPVA (High School For The Performing and Visual Arts). I'm not a visual artist myself. She's serious about this, and I would love for someone to give her some guidance in building a portfolio and applying to HSPVA. I know she might not make it in, and we've discussed this but whether or not she does, I think focusing on her art would help her wherever she goes. I'm on a budget but would also be willing to invest in art supplies if necessary. We will be back in Houston in late July; applications for high school begin in December. As I'm on a budget, once or twice a month.
