We are a family looking for a Chinese tutor for our 8-year-old son for at least July and August. He attends PVCICS during the school year and understands a bit of Mandarin, but he joined the program late and is behind his classmates. He is very intelligent but needs someone patient who can tailor the learning to his interests, and help get him excited about learning the language. We are based in Hadley but can meet elsewhere in the area.

Looking for a patient, dependable nanny to support my sister who is on the autism spectrum. Experience with autism is preferred but not required. Must be a non-smoker with a reliable car. Responsibilities include teaching a provided curriculum (reading, writing, life skills, and basic math), helping establish routines, and providing 2530 mins of daily exercise. Occasional transportation to local appointments in Tupelo may be needed. Patience, consistency, and a nurturing presence are key.

We are a nonprofit that helps kindergarten through 2nd graders who are behind in reading catch up quickly. We do 30 min 1-on-1 sessions 2x per week with students after school. We need tutors who can go to the school and do 3-4 30 min sessions Mon-Thu. We have a very basic curriculum to follow, but really it's just reading with emerging readers and helping them learn through a phonics-based progression.

Rising 6th grade boy, at least a year behind peer group and standards in math, needs regular, in-person instruction. He is SUPER friendly, social, emotionally intelligent, sporty, likeable, etc... He has ADHD, and subsequently an IEP, and continues struggling to make strides in math. He is eager to learn, but gets emotional (sad/teary) when he is unable to perform foundational math.
