She doesn't speak English yet, so we need someone patient who has worked with kids learning English. You'd teach reading, math, and early language skills, 2-3 times a week. We'd like lessons to follow California standards, and we'll need help with basic homeschool records (attendance, progress, etc.). Due to anxiety, a traditional classroom isn't a fit right now. We need someone experienced with 2e (twice-exceptional) kids and skilled in decoding autistic behaviors. The ideal candidate is neuro-affirming, patient, and confident, teaching upper-elementary math and language arts. The tutor will work with him twice weekly and provide directives for independent work the rest of the week. Must be secular in approach--no religious curriculum. We’re looking for a fun, encouraging, and experienced tumbling or gymnastics coach to work with our 10-year-old daughter on perfecting her aerial. She’s incredibly close and just needs the right technical support and confidence boost to get it clean and consistent. We’re hoping to find someone who has experience coaching kids at this level—whether through gymnastics, dance, cheer, or acro.

This is not a remote position. You will teach two students ages 10 and 8 years old. Both students are enrolled in home school. Applicant must be able to teach Math, English, Science, Social studies. This is an annual position from August to June.
