We're looking for a tutor for our 11-year-old son on some of the core subjects in 6th grade. He's attending Okaloosa Online and Mom will be home but we'd love someone who can help him through the studies skillfully. We're happy to help with transportation or any other obstacles. Our family values are: love, learn, laugh and we're excited for you to be a part of his growth. He is on par or above his grade in all subjects.

My daughter is doing some intensive therapy for her anxiety the next 3 weeks and will miss a fair amount of school. On top of that she struggled last year with her grades. Some of it was aptitude but some of it was from her anxiety. School just started this week and would like to get a good start. She is 14 and in 9th grade so please be familiar with that level of education. She would prefer a female and someone who is kind and patient with her. She would also want someone who can explain the concepts to her. We get home about 3:30 p.m. most days so I think 4 or 4:15 to 5:30 would be a good time frame. I am not sure how many days a week we need yet. This would be in person at my house and her Moms house also in Gilbert. We're looking for a tutor who is experienced working with elementary students of varying ages to assist our 3 children with homework and studying after school on the weekdays. They all attend BASIS Chandler so their curriculum is advanced, and it's important for you to have a solid understanding of advanced math concepts and foundational literacy and English language concepts. Our kids are in Grades Kinder, 2nd, and 4th. Second and Fourth grade are learning at one grade level higher (so 3rd and 5th grade level) and our oldest is in an advanced math class (6th grade level). You will primarily be helping our 2nd and 4th graders focus on and complete their homework and study/prepare for quizzes and tests. I am seeking an experienced tutor of English and ideally someone familiar with ESOL/ESL specific training for my Turkish husband. He has lived in the US for the last 5 years and speaks, reads, and writes English okay but would like to learn English from scratch as he hasn't had formal, classroom based training and seeks someone who can teach him accordingly.
