About who needs care: Hi! Im Rebeccah and I am 44years old. I sustained critical illness neuropathy back in December of 2021. Since then I have gained back some mobility but not enough to safely take care of myself. I live with my boyfriend who is my full time caregiver. But as Im sure most are aware the job does not pay well enough for him to not need another job. So I am looking for someone who could come in during the day on the days he works to help me out. There is no bathing or toileting needs. So no personal care is needed. I am able to walk very short distances so Im able to ambulate to the bathroom on my own. I do have a motorized wheelchair that you would need to help me lift into our car if I ever had an appointment. I try my best to not schedule those on his work days. I am unable to drive due to amputations on my feet and lack of sensation in my legs and feet. I only have use of my non dominant arm so things like cooking can be a little scary. I love to cook just need someone elses hands. I also have POTS which make standing up and walking sometimes a challenge. I may need help just stabilizing myself until the dizziness goes away. But it means that I cant do things that require me to consistently bend over like laundry or the dishwasher. I can hand you the dirty dishes and you can hand me the clean ones to put away. Same with laundry I am really good at one handed folding! I just need someone willing to swap the laundry over. Im really laid back and love to joke around. I try to not be too serious. I can be shy as first. I dont get too much adult companionship since getting sick. I do have 3 dogs. So you will have to enjoy being laid on and giving out scritches! They are all up to date on shots and licensing. They may take time to get used to someone new in their space. But nothing a few treats wont cure! I love true crime, reality type shows but medical drama type. I love music. I love to garden and sit outside on our deck. I am trying to hopefully grow some veggies to enjoy! I love to travel and plan vacations. We are in the process of renovating our home ourselves. So Im the design team! I like to take my pups for a stroll when its nice out. And sometimes catch a cat nap if my meds take over. About the care needs: Im looking for someone who is bubbly and kind. Someone who likes to help others. Someone who knows how to joke around. Someone who understands that I am not a baby. I just need some extra hands and feet! The only real skill is being able to drive and also be willing to help put my wheelchair in the car. I honestly love learning new hobbies so Im ok with whatever they may like. Animals are a must like. My dogs are my kids. My cats never come out so there isnt much interaction with them. Just know I will have a lint roller ready for you at all times! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.

We are looking for a great babysitter for 2 children in Grand Haven. We would prefer a babysitter who is comfortable with pets, who is CPR certified and who has college degree.

Looking for a part-time recurring sitter for 3 kids. Ages are 11, 6, and almost 3. This would be on Mondays and Fridays from about 12-4 p.m. at our home.

Our mom is active and physically healthy (walking every day and doing all her own chores) but at the age where she shouldn't be driving for much longer. She has early stage cognitive impairment so she can get confused or repeat herself at times, and worries about forgetting the stove is on so she no longer cooks. We're looking for a caring and compassionate person to check in on her a couple times a week, hours and days are flexible with potential for increasing hours/days over time. Duties include taking our mom to appointments, grocery runs, to the library or on other errands, as well as light meal prep, help organizing vitamins/medication, talking with her, and generally caring about her well-being.

My child is 1 years old. He enjoys watching blippi & Ms. Rachel. He likes to play outside and do indoor activities throughout the day. I would want him to learn numbers more and colors. I would want someone very patient and caring for my child.
