The position we'd be looking to fill would be somewhat of an on-call/resource role that would be as needed. My wife works weekends and nights, and I work during the week. On occasion we'd need help on Fridays and Monday's with the boys to allow my wife to sleep for a couple hours and transition to and from her night schedule. During the weekends, there's occasional chores and house projects that I can't do with both of our boys. In both cases, the both of us would be home. Meal prep and light house keeping is always a plus! We'd be fairly flexible on the schedule and hours to accommodate your needs.
We are very big on family time. Since we live outside of town, it's very quiet besides occasional traffic and farm equipment. We have 3/4 of an acre that's fully fenced off, so we enjoy utilizing the space with the boys and spending time outside as a whole.
Solomon absolutely loves reading books, you could read him 30 books and he'd still be interested in another 30 books. He's a huge fan of documentaries and could tell you anything about whales, sharks, elephants, lions, farm and construction equipment. He's very creative and loves to play pretend with his toy animals and trucks. In addition, he loved playing outside, whether that's T-ball, riding his bike, playing on his swing set or his sand box. He's also a little chef/baker as he loves to help out in the kitchen from washing fruits and vegetables, cracking eggs, mixing batter, pouring muffins etc.
Judah being 4 months, primarily shows interest in eating and sleeping of course. But when now that he's starting to be able to recognize people and objects, loves to watch his older brothers (2 and 4 legged play around).
Ideally we'd be looking for someone that loves to read, create crafts, and spend time outdoors. Solomon loves open play, but he also benefits from some structure with new craft ideas. It's a bigger bonus if the crafts help him developmentally with counting, writing and reading. Judah just needs help with the basic infant necessities:)
We have 2 golden/labrador retrievers, Behr and Leo. Behr has one thing on his mind, which is to play, play, play all of time. Leo however, could care less about fetch or other toys, all he wants is belly rubs and neck scratches.
