Id: 1530345 Children: 6 months old Compensation: $25-$30/hr based on education and experience. Start Date: ASAP for a year agreement with a possible extension Schedule: Monday - Friday. Roughly 8 hours daily between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., based on the nanny's preference. Fewer hours are likely needed on Fridays. (35 hours per week guaranteed). Optional additional hours for weekly date nights or weekends. Pets: 1 cat (American shorthair) Location: 78704 Travis Heights Duties: Full care Bottle preparation and sterilization Pump parts cleaning and sterilization Child's meals, including age-appropriate meal planning (BLW) Nap routine Schedule and implement age-appropriate activities Driving child in nanny's/family's vehicle Load and unload the dishwasher, tidy the kitchen Negotiable: Domestic and International travel (no trips planned at this time, but possibly during summer) Negotiable: Meal planning and prep for family Desired Nanny Qualities: A proactive, attentive, affectionate, and gentle nanny who has experience bringing baby to mom to breastfeed and doing paced bottle feeding, practices safe sleep, and is comfortable administering medication. Experience with the following is ideal but not required: cloth diapering (mom will launder), teaching baby sign language, assisting with baby proofing, BLW and allergen introduction, and assisting with water/swim lessons. Experience with or willingness to learn and implement elimination communication At least six months of experience with infants up to 18 months is required Non-smoker required Practices safe sleep English proficiency required Required vaccinations, TDAP, Flu shot, COVID-19, COVID-19 booster, MMR Meet the family: "We tend to work a lot (on computers), mostly at home but sometimes at our favorite coffee shops. Mom loves reading fiction, tea, yoga, baking, and hanging out with friends. Dad loves carpentry, computer programming, art, and comedy. We also enjoy traveling and experiencing living in other places. We are very new to parenthood and are still adjusting and learning daily. We don't have a specific parenting style yet. We like some aspects of the Montessori approach and Magda Gerber's RIE philosophy. We look forward to the nanny's guidance on how to adapt to our child's changing needs and development."
