Job Id: 928623 Children: Newborn due in May and 4 year old (Infant is main responsibility. 4-year-old is in school from 8.30 am-4.30 pm, Monday-Friday during the school year and summer session, but may need occasional school while school is closed due to holiday or break). Compensation: $22-25/hr based on education and experience Start Date: May 1st for a year agreement with a possible extension. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am- 4:30 pm (40 hours per week guaranteed) Pets: None Location: 78759 Westover Hills Duties: Full care Bottle preparation and sterilization Children's meals Nap routine Schedule and implement age-appropriate activities Keep the children's bedroom/play area and common areas clean Children's laundry Load and unload the dishwasher Desired Nanny Qualities: A motivated and reliable nanny who is attentive to the child's needs, and will plan and implement developmental activities to support the child's milestones. A loving, nurturing, and organized nanny who will partner with mom, yet will also take initiative to get things done independently. Prior newborn experience required A bilingual nanny preferred, but English proficiency is required. Required vaccinations, TDAP, MMR, COVID-19, COVID-19 booster, Flu shot Non-smoker required Meet the family: We are a family of three, soon to be four, and have been living in Austin for 8 years. My husband and I are originally from Indonesia and our household is bilingual. We are looking for a nanny who can foster a culture of open communication and dialogue, and also help our sons thrive in English language/communication. Our sons' learning and development are our top priority so we are looking for a nanny who can help our sons grow and develop through activities and fun play. At the same time, we would like to make sure that our kids are happy and healthy. Both mom and dad are working full time so we are looking for a nanny who can get things done, independently so we can have quality time as a family after work. Weekends are our quality time as a family. We enjoyed doing activities with our kids such as swimming, going to a park and cooking together. In our free time, we also enjoy traveling and seeing new places, learning new cultures and tasting new food.
