WHO/WHAT: Are you the bees' knees of infant experienced nannies who's ready to fly right into a potential lifetime role? The beekeeping enthusiasts know the value of building (and appreciating!) an all-star team to help them take excellent care of their hive. And that's exactly what you'll be joining-a supportive TEAM of experts just like you! These hours are somewhat flexible but ideally, you'll work Monday to Thursday, from 7 am to 4 pm. Mom travels a lot and Dad works from home (but won't get in your way), and both parents would appreciate a nanny who will provide them with frequent updates. There's a housekeeper who'll tend to the majority of the cleaning and household management tasks. (You'll back them up... EVERYONE backs each other up-isn't that beautiful? We think so, too.) That means the vast majority of your day will gravitate around the safety and needs of this precious little lady! You'll hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide her naps. But what these first-time parents really, really want is to also learn from someone with your vast childcare knowledge. This is much more than your standard nanny role because you'll spearhead a large part of their daughter's development. As mentioned, while the baby sleeps, you'll serve as backup for the household manager. This includes the baby's laundry, washing bottles, restocking the nursery supplies, general tidying up, and light pet care. There are two dogs that may need the occasional water dish top-up and to be let in and out of the yard. You'll also need to run the odd errand using your own car. If transportation needs change as the lady grows, a family vehicle will be provided. There are no allergies, you'll need to know how to swim, and have your CPR and first aid updated. HUGE bonus points if you have a Newborn Care Specialist certification or any other "official" childcare training. You have AT LEAST five years of recent infant experience and could change a diaper with your eyes closed.
