You'll play a vital role in their early development, creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where they can thrive, and be there to witness all the wonderful milestones that come with working with babies. Daily responsibilities will include: - Providing attentive and responsive care for newborns, including feeding, diapering, bathing, soothing, and playing. - Developing a personalized routine based on the baby's unique needs and cues. - Implementing gentle sleep training techniques to establish healthy sleep habits. - Encouraging early learning and development through age-appropriate activities and interactions. - Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the baby. - Communicating effectively with parents, providing updates and collaborating on their wishes. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience caring for newborns: We're seeking nannies with proven success in providing exceptional care for this delicate age group. - At least 2 professional childcare-related references provided that can speak to your unique experience caring for newborn/infants. - In-depth knowledge of newborn development: You should understand the physical, emotional, and cognitive milestones of newborns and how to support them. - Expert diapering and feeding skills: From bottle-feeding to breastfeeding support, you should be comfortable with all aspects of newborn feeding and hygiene. - A calm and gentle demeanor. - CPR and First Aid certification/SIDS training: Ensuring the baby's safety is paramount.
