House manager/nanny needed for an adorable baby and puppy in a two mom household in Morningside. Their daughter is in daycare during the day. Parents would love for you to come in and handle any house management duties and pick up pup and baby by 5:30 p.m. They want someone that's going to be a good fit for them in the evenings. They both have very long hour and high pressure jobs and would love someone capable and professional to help them navigate the evening. Please message back with your direct contact information if interested. Hours: Guaranteed 20 hours per week. Monday-Thursday from 3-8 p.m. (flexible start and end time, to align on with nanny. The baby must be picked up from daycare by 5:30PM) Start date: June 3. Duties: Drive to pick up the dog and baby from daycare Monday through Thursday. Help feed, change diapers, bathe her, read to, play with, sing to, and put her to bed. Make simple dinner for parents 2-3 times per week and for the baby nightly when she starts eating solid food. Feed the dog dinner. Take care of light housework (wash/fold family laundry, put away grocery deliveries, clean dishes/counters, straighten living areas, prep coffee for morning, take out trash) Occasional light errands nearby (e. g., package drop-off, pick up dry cleaning) Compensation: $33 and up per hour depending on experience. Standard benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation. One week at the nanny's request and the other at the family's. 5 sick days per year. Mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate. Currently . 67 cents per mile. Nanny requirements: They are seeking someone who is looking for a long-term fit, has recent infant experience, and enjoys singing, reading and speaking to babies to help them develop. They are looking for someone who is warm, empathetic, and responsible. This person is a great communicator with parents and is comfortable with (and ideally loves) dogs. It would be ideal to find someone with availability to work full days if the baby is home sick from daycare (this is not a requirement). This person must have their Covid vaccination with the most recent booster, yearly flu shot and be willing to get their dTaP vaccine.
