They are a family of four who enjoy traveling and the outdoors. They live in beautiful Mill Valley and are looking for a long-term developmentally focused nanny who will actively take charge while mom and dad are at work. Mom works from home part-time and dad travels often so a reliable and flexible candidate is key for their thriving household. They are looking for a collaborative partner who is nurturing and has a passion for children. They value a caregiver who enbodies a general curiosity in the world, who is thoughtful, kind and joyful. Responsibilities & Qualifications: Create a nurturing and positive environment for our children, encouraging their development through outdoor activities, creative play, and interactive imagination. Manage the children's daily schedule, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring they are punctual and well-prepared. Assist with light organization and tidying of the children's surroundings, while acknowledging that deep cleaning and meal preparation are taken care of by additional help. Establish and maintain good boundaries with the children, fostering a nurturing and loving atmosphere. Recent, long-term experience working with infants & toddlers with a background in child development. Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to the family's environment. Flexibility to help with occasional overnights and travel. A spotless driving record, and safe reliable car is required. Reimbursement will be provided. To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements: A minimum of 3-5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills. Able to make a long-term commitment for a minimum of 3 years. Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children. Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization. Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. CPR certification (if applicable).
