| I have really always enjoyed working with children and find it very rewarding. During high school, for example, I volunteered at our local church community and supervised groups of children during events that had been organised for children to play or do little projects. During a gap year, I was an au pair in Scarsdale, NY, USA, where I took care of four children, aged 5 to 15. My responsibilities there were very versatile, from helping the children get dressed and ready for the day to playing with them and engaging them in fun activities in the afternoons to light housekeeping tasks like tidying up and meal preparation. | I have babysat for extra pocket money since I was sixteen. Then in my gap year, for four months I lived in with an amazing family as a nanny where I was looking after a lovely three year old girl and a one year old boy full time. I cooked all of their food, thought of fun activities for us to do, took them to the park, often helped out with bath and bed time and spent a few weekends in sole charge of them. The summer after I looked after an 8 month old and a 4 year old for a month who were very sweet I did school drop offs and pick ups with the four year old along with supper and help with bedtime!

I'm a super friendly and warm young girl, I live in Edinburgh (EH3) during term time as I'm a Medical student at the University Of Edinburgh however I live home in the holidays and over summer.
