Hello! I am a middle school science teacher looking to find some part time summer work. I have been teaching for 10 years, with 7 years of child care work before that. I have experience working with a wide range of ages and levels, from infant to 12th grade! I have worked with students with special needs and honors students. I love science, music, the arts, reading, and being outside!

I am a certified elementary and special education teacher. I have tutored since 2021 working with students from age 5 to 16. Currently I am a resource room teacher, working with students K-3rd, who have different learning disabilities including ADD and dyslexia. I have also worked in 1st and 5th grade classrooms.

I'm looking for a job that allows me to work in the summer. I teach during the school year and would love to find a compatible family that needs childcare over the summer, and potentially some evenings during the school year. I'd describe my personality as creative, helpful, and empathetic. In my spare time, I like to do quite a lot of activities! I enjoy doing crafts such as calligraphy, knitting/crocheting, coloring, and pottery painting. I've been known to also play video games. I also like to spend time with my friends, family, and loved ones. A nice walk outside or hike is also a great time! I do love to take some time to catch up on some shows when I can.

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, inventive and warmhearted. I like caring for seniors because they are wise with so much knowledge to share. I'm looking for a job that is mainly weekday mornings where I can assist with appointments, shopping/errands and housekeeping. I started caring for seniors when my grandmother became ill approximately 14 years ago. After she passed, I helped with grandfather till his death 5 years ago. In my spare time, I like to swim (beach or my pool), spend time with my daughter (15 years old), play with my dog, volunteer at the coffee shop at my church. My skills include listening & understanding, efficiency & caring.
