I am a kind, reliable, hardworking mom who would like to make things easier for you by assisting with errands, light housework and to-dos, meal preparation, transportation, pet care and many other things. I am also good company, a loyal companion, and love getting to know people, learn about their lives, and listen to their stories. I would like to combine my interest in helping others by providing companion care with my need to earn some additional income for my family.

I have worked in childcare for 3 and a half years now with children ages 3 to 13. I am active, fun and engaging. I have experience in working with children with autism, ADHD, and other mental health disorders as well as general emotional management. I am comfortable in picking up and dropping off children to and from school or other activities, planning and facilitating full-day activities, crafts, and educational activities. I enjoy preparing meals, cleaning up after children and tucking them into bed. I have developed strong long-term relationships with children and their families over the years and I look forward to each new day with the children in my care.

I am a mother of three, so cleaning and tidying after other humans is not new to me! From bathroom to closest, I take pride in all cleaning jobs that I finish! I'd describe my personality as cheerful, optimistic and creative. I take pride in the cleanliness of my home and I find I feel better when my home is nice and clean. I started housekeeping when I was a teenager and my family would volunteer at a women and children's shelter and would go monthly to deep clean the building. I have since helped with multiple move-out deep cleans, laundry service and house management. I like to spend time with my children and family. We spend a lot of time out doors, visiting the zoo and aquariums and staying home watching Disney classics! One thing you should know about me is I take so much pride in the work that I do. I am goal and detail oriented. My skills include deep cleaning, organization and laundry.

I moved to Chicago from Poland 25 years ago with an MA in Education/Culture. My first job as a nanny was with a lovely newborn baby girl I watched until she was 5 y. o. and started preschool. Our favorite activities included listening to music and dancing-my biggest passion. After evaluating my foreign credentials in the U. S., I completed classes in early childhood development and psychology. I worked as a coordinator in an after school program. A few years later, I earned a second degree in Linguistics and taught in China and S. Korea. Upon my return, I was a live in nanny for a 1 y. o. girl, 4 y. o. boy and his 9 y. o. brother. As an educator and caregiver, I enjoy creating stimulating environment for, love cultures/ languages, and have strong writing skills. I can help with homework in these areas. Professionally, I have been an adjunct instructor. I am looking to return to babysitting to foster human connections and contribute my energy to younger generation.

My background has allowed for me to be well informed of patient intake/ medical history and administration of medications. I regularly work with wound care, mobility assistance- heavy lifting. Over the years, I have been a care taker for my elderly family members and friends, whether it be after surgery care or Alzheimer's/ Dementia assistance. Including, any decline of their daily routine needs helping with meal preparation, transportation, and providing companionship. I have a passion to serve others as part of my life purpose and being a care taker is an additional way for me to give back as service to the community. I am a very dependable, honest and fun person. I have experience working with younger children from being a lifeguard and swim instructor in 2021. I also have experience teaching older children from being a rock climbing instructor at a camp in 2022 and 2023. I am currently a college student, studying psychology.
