Hello! I have been a full-time nanny for the last 12 years working with mostly infants to preschool-aged children. Before that, I was a full-time infant to preschool teacher. I also have an educational background in ECE! When working with children some of my favorite activities to do are to take walks to the local park, sing, dance, read and do art projects. I also love going out and exploring (children's museum, zoo, parks, play gym, etc.) I am an infant-adult CPR and First Aid certified. I have a vast knowledge of different parenting styles, teaching styles and philosophies. Safety and health of your children, your family, and myself is always a priority to me! I love being a nanny! Hi there! I am a 32-year-old Early Childhood Education Associate's Major student at a Community College. I just moved to Texas from Oregon this summer. I have been involved in childcare in one way or another for over 15 years starting at the age of 11. I started working for a family down the street from my house that liked how I interacted and watched their children so much that they requested that I take the babysitting certification course when I turned 11 y/o. I started working in daycare at the age of 21. I have worked with kids as young as 6 months to as old as 14. I have my CPR and First Aid certification and I am also enrolled in a Criminal Background Registry. As well as my Oregon Food Handlers Permit.

I work part time for a local school district. I am available for before and after school care. I'm a grandmother of 2 beautiful little boys. I have passed background and fingerprint requirements for my school position.

I have cared for special needs all my life. I had a Daycare center for special needs children for over 20 years. Then I ran foster care homes as a resident manager for 5 years. I now have a non-profit that helps adults with autism find housing. I also do part time private care for special needs.

Hi there! My name is Amanda, thank you for stopping by my page! In three words, I would describe myself as a leader, compassionate, and adventurous. I love organizing fun activities for the children in my life. Over the summer, some of our highlights were taking a camping trip on my family creek property, visiting the beach, having a lake day at Trillium Lake and swimming at our secret river spot. I am currently a nanny for two awesome kids Monday through Thursday, and occasionally babysit some little ones (ages 1 & 4) on the weekends. I love being able to spend so much time with children, they are a huge part of my life. Along with the little ones I care for, I have an 10-year-old sister and a 13-year-old brother whom I am very close with and take care of often. I hear frequently that I am a natural with kids. :) I have babysat for about 8 years and been a nanny for the same family for 3 years. In my opinion, the most important aspect of child care is keeping the kids safe and happy. Background: I have had 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 birds, 1 turtle, hamsters, 1 mouse, fish, and have pet sat 2 chinchillas for 2 weeks and many other house animals in my lifetime. Care: I have experience with pregnancy/birthing of dogs and cats, medicinal administration, feeding, grooming, walking, play/exercise, potty training, emergency response, and have been told by strangers how well behaved my pets have been. And don't forget the most important care of all, LOVE! I have trained all my pets myself, even as a child, despite having family in the house I have always been the take charge kind of gal and pet training has always came natural and easy to me even with having a few stubborn yet amazing pets in the mix. I also don't mind house sitting, getting mail/newspapers and watering plants! For those interested in overnight care at my home I don't have any pets in the house at this time but in a few months will be welcoming home a 10-week-old puppy.

For four years, I nannied part-time for a family with an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl on weekdays (Monday - Friday). The boy has ADD and dyslexia so I have experience caring for a child with a higher level of care and patience needed. Other childcare experience: 2016-July 2020 - managed an in home daycare with 16 infants/toddlers and 4 other staff, July 2020-September 2021 - full time nanny for a little boy until he started preschool full time, September 2021-present - nanny for a little girl starting preschool this September. She has a severe peanut allergy so I'm experienced in caring for and dealing with a life threatening allergy. I have multiple certifications in infant/toddler care. I consider myself a high energy, loving, reliable and patient caregiver that believes there is no greater joy or purpose than to have the opportunity to enrich a child's life. I grew up with my mother being a Childcare/Preschool teacher. I have always enjoyed having children around me. I was a back up child care provider for my mother, initially. From there, every opportunity that presented itself I would educate and look after children. I have been a nanny for children ranging from infant to 11 years old. I have worked for a preschool in a center based atmosphere as a Junior Toddler teacher for two and a half years, however, I have spent an abundance amount of time in all classrooms. The teacher to student ratio is 1:4 or 2:8 for infant to Jr. Toddler, 1:5 for toddler, and 10:1 for preschool and prekindergarten. My responsibilities included planning and implementing the learning curriculum lessons for my classroom aging 12 months old - 24 months old. I provided strategies to capture and incorporate my children's interests and chose learning experiences based on developmental needs, and most importantly, creating a fun and exciting structured learning environment for my children!
