Hello. Most of my best experience caring for children is being a mother to my own two children now ages 12 and 21. I have volunteered at a YMCA coaching co-ed basketball for ages 5-7. I worked as a care giver for children with Alopecia during 2005. I've also taught Sunday school for all ages at church for several years. Kids tend to love me and think I'm lots of fun. I have two fur kids, one Chiweenie and one Bull mastiff so I'm comfortable around pets. I also love cats, my sister has two and they are my buddies. I love to do arts and crafts, play basketball, volleyball, throw football's, swimming and play board games & card games.

I've owned pets my whole life. I enjoy taking care of all kinds of pets and have sturdy experience in doing so. I love animals and understand that they need the best care possible in all areas. I used to be a professional pet sitter in high school and never had any complaints.

I have been working in Personal Private Care since about 2009. Over the years, I have worked with a verity a people all ranging from different age groups, and health conditions. I have experience with several different skills such as using a hoyer lift, physical transfers (in and out of bed, in and out of the shower, in and out of a wheelchair/scooter/electric chair), administering and removing a catheter, medications, feeding, bathing (in the shower, or sponge baths in bed), wound care, amongst other things. Some of the different health conditions that I have worked with over the years range from Dementia/and or Alzheimer's, Cancer, Parkinson Disease, and Quadriplegic. I am patient, have a good sense of humor, am very down to earth, and I love singing.

I have been working with children on the Autism Spectrum for 17 years plus. I began at LCDC in JP and now work in Cambridge in a sub separate class with preschoolers 3-5 years on the Spectrum. I love my job and find it very rewarding. I cannot see myself doing anything else. I also have a daughter with ADHD, Dyslexia and an oral language processing disorder. Welcome to my profile! I have over 10 years of childcare experience. I spent the first 5 years of my career as a certified child care assistant in a Montessori daycare. For the last 8 years, I have been a nanny, with most of my experience with infants up to 5 years old. I have experience with caring for more than one child, having had up to 3 toddlers at once. I put strong emphasis in emotional and social development, believing strongly that a child who understands themselves and the society around them can grow up to be strong and confident adults. For the past 5 years, I have also worked in scratch kitchens, qualifying me to also provide meal prep services.

I live in the Watertown and am a mother of two grown girls (an Occupational Therapist and a recent Health Science Major). I am also an active aunt of many energetic nieces and nephews whom I love and care for very often. I am experienced in infant care, preschool and older children. I am very comfortable caring for more than one child at once as well. I love taking children to the parks, libraries and museums and am still very active despite my age! I have worked at Boston University's Genetic Department for many years and after my children finished college, I began working as a nanny/ in child care. I am CPR trained and have had many years of experience caring for others' children (and my own). I have a very reliable car and excellent driving record. I am also experienced in Personal/Senior and Disabled Care Assistance. I held many playgroups at my home and have experience keeping the children busy with arts and crafts, learning games and creative play and encourage sports. I am a naturally neat/organized person and have no problem helping out with household duties such as laundry, cooking, picking up, etc. I am also a dog lover and have a home with a huge yard right outside of Boston and am also looking for pet care opportunities (regular and occasional)- either at my home or if more comfortable, someone else's home. Each month for the past 3 years, I have watched a medium sized dog at my own home while the family traveled and absolutely loved it. I have had dogs my entire life and enjoy having a dog to care for, walk with me and am sure any family will be at ease with their dog in my care!

Hello! I'm a kind, compassionate caregiver from Panama. As the oldest sibling, caregiving has been part of my life from early on. I have over 17 years of experience working with children of all ages-from newborns to teens-including those with special needs.
