Hi I'm a stay at home mom and have a 3 1/2-year-old daughter. I have plenty of experience with infants and children. I have 4 younger siblings and also worked in a daycare for three years. Also, being a mom myself, I really enjoy doing crafts, reading, going to the park, or anything outside. Being a mom and caring for children is the best job.

I have several years experience as a child care worker and about 5 years experience working with hospice and regular care patients. I'm very passionate about working with children as well as the elderly.

I am experienced in caring for children, ages 6 months to 16 years. I am certified in CPR, and will help with homework. I have a tremendous background in working with children.

For housekeeping experience I have cleaned my own apartment religiously for the past 7 years and also my boyfriend's place. I love to clean and I love that it helps give others more free time to relax and enjoy the company of their significant other. Specific services I offer: dishes: washing/drying/putting away; take out trash, vacuuming carpet/mopping floors; sweeping; cleaning mirrors, tables, windows, toilets, showers, and scrubbing counters; dusting; making beds; cleaning fridge/stove/microwave; laundry; watering indoor and outdoor plants; and for an extra fee I can mow the lawn. Hours I am available: Mon-Friday, 9:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m.

The only housekeeping experience I had was working for an elderly lady at my apartment complex. I moved to Searcy, Arkansas in 2008 and was desperately looking for employment. One day I went to check my mail at the apartment complex main office and I noticed a handwritten note on the bulletin board. I can remember it reading: need light house cleaning done. was really excited. That same day I went over. It was an elderly lady whom I wasn't really sure of what she needed cleaning, considering her apartment was tidy. I did not know that this specific day would change my entire life. A friendship was made, one that would never be forgotten. Occasionally, I would do light housekeeping duties such as: dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, retrieving the mail, cooking, and emptying the trash.

I am a 7 year English teacher with experience instructing Literature, teaching writing in the APA and MLA formats, as well as term papers and research papers. I have experience in SAT, and ACT prep as well. If you have any struggles with FCAT Reading and Writing, I have over 7 years as an FCAT tutor to students at every level.

While my children were growing up, I cared for children birth through grade school ages. I volunteered at the YMCA in their preschool and before and after school program. With my children now grown, I am free to follow my passion of teaching and caring for young children. I am available to care for your children, cooking, light housekeeping and any other duties to accommodate your needs. Children will be involved in positive play and learning experiences while in my care. Education: I will continue to further my education in Early Childhood Education and Development. I have a secondary interest in psychology and human services. I have studied early childhood development, education and child care management, through books, educational videos, seminars, parenting classes and other venues for the past 30 years. I feel I am up to date on the child care practices used today. My method of dealing with undesirable behavior is always age appropriate. Redirection first, positive reinforcements, helping children make positive choices and understanding consequences. I am more interested in teaching children to understand their feelings connected with their behavior, then providing some kind of punishment.
