We are looking for a regular babysitter for 2 Thursdays a month and 2-3 Saturdays a month for our son. Start time on Thursday is flexible but would be the early afternoon to 8 PM, and on Saturdays hours are flexible. He has a rare genetic disease, is non-verbal and walks only with assistance. Any candidate needs to be able to comfortably lift 35-40 lbs, and has experience with disabled and/or nonverbal children. CPR training and finger print card/background check required.

Loves to play with someone who interacts with her. She wakes up at 6 a.m. and is off to school by 7:15 a.m. She gets home at 4 p.m. to do homework and hobbies and bedtime at 7 p.m. Needs help getting to school and occasional babysitting

Hia superpower is something called Hyperlexia Type 3. Which means he is really bright reads incredibly well, but he can get overstimulated or overly emotional and may need to take a break. It's all very manageable, but something we will discuss in further details. We live within walking distance to a metro park and would feel comfortable setting up a few field trips or things within driving distance if you are comfortable driving.
