About
Welcome to the West End Pod!
Our names are Ariella Hargrave and Brittany Brown.
We are two professional educators who hold degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. After working together at the JCC preschool program for several years and homeschooling this past year we have decided to join forces!
What we offer:
- Full day program (8:30am-5:30pm)
- Part time program (either half day or full day a couple times a week)
- We provide a 4 to 1 student to teacher ratio.
- All nutritious snacks included.
- Both indoor and outdoor space for safe play and learning with lots of opportunity for gross motor skills and social emotional development. We are also in the process of putting together our edible garden!
- We are strong believers in a Reggio Emilia approach with a focus on kindergarten readiness. In a nutshell this means that we provide opportunities for hands on learning through play while fostering their individual interests and needs.
- We promote a family community guided by values focusing on kindness, and respect for people and the world around them. We believe in an open on going communication with parents always with the best interest of the child in mind.
We currently have a couple of spots available within our pod. Please inquire for pricing as we understand that COVID brought some financial challenges to so many members of our community so we are happy to discuss payment options.
