About the business
I believe that when we as teachers can make an impact on the lives of preschoolers and the adults they come in contact with on a daily basis, then we are successful. Sure, I would get excited when a child was progressing towards a goal, but I would be ecstatic when a child s teacher or parent would inform me of their progress.
That told me that what I was imparting to a child had become a goal for the team of individuals who also worked with that child.
I don t know how many people realize the importance of early childhood education, but one thing I know is that the early years of a child s life are precious.
What I will expose them to will have an affect on their future educational experiences. But I also believe that it continues to be a team effort. Parents are the first teacher, therefore, it is important to have an ongoing collaboration with parents.
