They have many opportunities to explore their environment as well. the children in my care get individual attention, lots of love and understanding of each individual needs. My toddler has attended Laurinda's Mini-Preschool and Daycare for the past year. Laurinda is an experienced, warm, and smart caregiver. My child adores Laurinda - he talks about her often and is always excited to go to daycare.
This in-home daycare provides structure and a curriculum that are enriching for my child, but Laurinda is flexible and doesn't force my child to participate in activities in which he's not interested.
When my child has had some behavioral issues, Laurinda has employed creative strategies to overcome them rather than just giving up on my child.
I highly recommend this daycare.

Ms. Laurinda took wonderful care of my children. She provides a very homely, fun and loving environment for the children, at the same time with structure to nurture their creativity and social skills. My daughter, now in kindergarten, still wishes she could go there with her brother. We drop him off each day knowing she would not just care for him but also provide him with love and affection. Needless to say, my son is always eager to go and often times hesitant to leave at the end of the day.
My kids felt like this was their second family. We were fortunate our kids had a safe place to grow and learn and have fun. Mostly, we are thankful for having had the peace of mind that our kids were safe and happy.
I highly recommend Ms. Laurida's daycare to any family looking for a loving and fun place for their children.

Laurinda has taught and cared for all three of our children. I will be sad when our youngest goes to kindergarten next year! She provides the perfect amount of structure/curriculum---the kids were all well prepared for kindergarten---but the home-based aspect gives it a more intimate, family feel. There is a schedule to each day, but with good flexibility.
The environment is bright and welcoming, with ample space to play in centers, have circle time, do art projects at the big round table, etc. The children play outside every day, weather permitting.
Laurinda is knowledgable about child development (she has years of experience, plus coursework in early childhood) and is a great resource for us parents. She is patient and loving with the children, but maintains good order and structure too. I have never seen her lose her cool! She is also very dependable. I cannot recommend her more highly.
