SPECIAL OFFER
I offer 4 free hours to full-time / part-time parent the last Friday of every month for date night , hours are from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Siblings and others are welcome for a charger I also offer overnight care if needed.
About the business
My name is Hortense I have a in home daycare I'm a mother of two amazing children and I have one adorable grand-baby I live alone in a pet free environment I have been caring and teaching children in my home for 9 years, I am registered by the State of Texas and I am up to date with my 30+ annual child care training hours and it includes First Aid and CPR. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant for 15 years. I worked with children in various departments: labor and delivery, mother/baby, pediatric, ICU, also been an ER tech for 4 years. I sincerely enjoy being around and working with kids. My goal is to provide a healthy and safe environment for your children. Each child will be respected and protected as individuals.
Curriculum is set in place to enrich your child's daily experiences, I would love to teach your child/children social, cognitive, motor, learning, and age appropriate development skills. I will provide activities that will nurture your child's abilities while helping them keep a positive mind set, I am continually taking Readiness classes to help prepare the children for kindergarten.
I am enrolled with the USDA program and offer healthy and nutritious snacks, I am inspected by the State of Texas and the USDA program at meal times. my home daycare is registered with the Department of Family and Protective Services. Each child will be loved and cared for to the best of my ability. This is a home based childcare setting for children ages 6 months old to 12years I provide full-time, part-time, hourly, and after school. Opens from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, however, if extended time is needed up until 8:00 pm, it will be an extra charge.

I would give Ms. Pat 1000 ratings if I could. God truly answered my prayers when I stumbled across her page. She is the absolute BEST for both my kids. She's patient, and takes the time to talk with my kids. Both my son & my daughter have learned so much, and I have Ms. Pat to thank for it. She provides learning that allows them to flourish academically, while also teaching them how to use their imagination. When I pick up my son, at least once a week, he is singing a new song he learned all the way home. In her classroom, it is all about the kids! Thank you Ms. Pat! You are a gift from God!

We absolutely love Ms. Pat! My daughter started daycare with Ms. Pat right after she turned one and Ms. Pat has helped her learn and grow so much. From her home-cooked meals to her interactive lessons, my daughter has blossomed under her patient care. Ms. Pat loves the kids in her care like her own and it shows. She makes every day fun and makes every birthday and holiday something special for all the kids and their families. We are so blessed that we found Ms. Pat to look after little one.

Our son started at Ms.Pats at 2 years old and had never stayed or been to day care before , but going to daycare with Ms.Pat he has become outgoing and so excited to go to daycare everyday. He loves Ms.Pat so much. We love that he learns and does academic activities. She also has helped him become fully potty trained. We are so happy and thankful that we found Ms.Pat because she is so patient and caring with our son . We don't have to worry for his safety or happiness because we know with Ms.Pat he will be taken care of and treated with love and respect. We highly recommend her.

I literally can't say enough good things about Ms Pat. She is absolutely amazing. She cares for all of her kids as if they were her own and she is so much more than just childcare. Her passion is her kids and it shows. My son is learning so much and he is so happy. When we brought my son to Ms Pat, we were having such a hard time potty training him but Ms Pat had him trained in a week. She feeds them well balanced meals every day, teaches them daily, does special projects with them, celebrates holidays and birthdays and makes every child feel loved and appreciated. She is a mother to my son when I am at work and cannot be. She really is a gift!

Ms. Pat is amazing and she runs a clean, organized, structured daycare for the children. She is loving and kind with each of the kiddos, she loves them as if they were her own. As a first time mom I was overbearing at times and my anxiety was through the roof when I would think about sending my son to daycare. We interviewed Ms. Pat back in 2020 and I was comforted by the amount of understanding and love she exuded to us all. We continue to take our son to Ms. Pat because he has flourished and grown so much with her structured curriculum. My son was a little late with speech and potty training but she helped us with both and now he is speaking full sentences and using the big boy potty! We truly appreciate Ms. Pat!

I will never be able to say enough great things about my sons time at Ms. Pat's daycare. As a first time mom I never had to worry when my child was in her care. She always ensured that the children learned, were mannerable, felt loved and had delicious meals to eat. Unfortunately we moved out of the area and had to discontinue care but if that had not been the case, my son would definitely still be enrolled in her care today.

Ms. Pat is one of the most amazing childcare providers that I've had for my son. I was truly upset when me and my husband received orders to leave the Cibolo area knowing that I would probably never find a provider as good as Ms. Pat. She taught the kids, had parties, celebrated Birthdays. It was truly a wonderful experience having someone like Ms. Pat to care for my son while we were working knowing that she would care for him like her own. We honestly miss her.

Ms. Pat is a amazing. She goes above and beyond to make sure her kids are happy and learning. Our little one looks forward to school everyday. Ms. Pat has helped him grow and overcomes so much in his young life. If you want a school where kids come first Abc's Hortense and Md Childcare Home learning center is the place for your little one.

Trusting Ms. Pat to provide a nurturing, warm and home like environment was the best decision my husband and I could have made. My daughter has learn so much since she has been in her care. My son has been with Ms Pat for going on 3 years and has had a wonderful experience. She provides an educational based daycare program that has benefited my son greatly and helped him transition well in to pre-k and now kinder. She has many fun activities for the kids through out the year and their families as well. We are greatful to have her as our daycare provider.

Ms. Pat is by far one of the best childcare providers I have ever used for my children. She loves each of the children as if they were her own. She cooks them home cooked meals daily, ensures they are well educated, disciplined, well mannered, and most of all that they feel loved and at home while in her care. I would definitely recommend Ms. Pat's for anyone who is looking for reliable care for their child.

Both my son & daughter are in Ms Pat's care. They both love her and are always excited to go to school. My daughter has been with Ms Pat since she was 3 months old and I am so thankful for Ms Pat. It is hard to find trustworthy childcare and Ms Pat definitely exceeds any expectations. The kids have a curriculum appropriate to each of their ages, including my baby girl. She helped with potty training and my 18 month old is already talking and trying to keep up with the big kids!

Ms. Pat is an outstanding provider! My daughter has been going to her daycare for a little over 2 years. She is 3 and currently operating at a level higher than many of her peers. My daughter can count to 100, write her first and last name. Knows her ABC's and she can do recognition of animals and colors. Ms. Pat is an amazing teacher and she is a blessing to any child she cares for.

My daughter LOVES Ms. Pat. She is 3 years old and has only been attending daycare there for just over 3 months. My daughter is already writing her name! The patience and guidance Ms. Pat gives all the children is so amazing. My daughter is excited every week to go to school. The homework is skill level and age appropriate. After being a stay-at-home mom for 3 years, this was the first time my daughter was ever in daycare and Ms. Pat helped make the transition smooth for all of us. I am more than happy that we found Ms. Pat and I know my daughter is too!

My girls LOVE Mrs.Pat
I have been utilizing her services for a year and a half with my two girls. My 3 and 5 yr old are doing homework of kids in school. Her curriculum is awesome! I fear that leval of care and dedication will be hard to match when they enter school. I am confident and impressed with her skill set. ALL the kids love her and that kind of care is hard to find. - We you!

I cannot rave about this school enough! Ms.Pat is so incredible with the children. She goes above and beyond to ensure they are well cared for and learning something new everyday. I am so appreciative of her and have seen so much growth in my 3 year old daughter since she started attending. Would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a higher quality of care for their kiddos.

Ms. Pat is so wonderful. She has been a blessing to our family. Ms. Pat provided our two baby girls with love, great food, an education, hugs, etc. I'm Active Duty military and Ms. Pat was very accommodating to early mornings and late evenings. Very professional. We hate that we had to PCS. Our girls are 1 and 3. I can't put into words what Ms. Pat means to our family. I wish I could take her with me because I know that my babies would always be in excellent care!

Ms. Hortense is such a blessing to our family. I am so happy that we found her. My son loves going to her home and is always happy. Within 1 week of caring for our son, he had already learned new things. She has a great curriculum and daily schedule in place. She always keeps us updated and has definitely made us feel at ease throughout the day. We couldn't have asked for a better caregiver.
