Wes Burke is Care.com’s Chief People Officer, leading the Company’s global People Experience organization. Since joining in April 2023, Wes unified Human Resources, Information Technology, and Workplaces into one function, reflecting a modern approach to the full employee journey. By bringing these capabilities together, Wes and his team focus on the entire lifecycle of work, creating environments where people want to belong and equipping them to do their best work in a consistent, connected way—ultimately enabling exceptional outcomes for Care.com’s customers.
Wes brings more than two decades of leadership experience, including serving as Head of Human Resources for GameStop, where he guided the company through a period of transformation and rapid change. He has also held senior roles at Accent Food Services, Alchemy Systems, Target, and Floor & Décor.
Outside of Care.com, Wes serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Goodwill Central Texas and is a member of the CNBC Workforce Executive Council.
