My name is Annette and for the past 3 years I have been working with Children having Autistic Spectrum Disorder in a classroom setting. Some have intellectual or developmental challenges. We do school work together, helping and encouraging them to do as much as possible by themselves. We teach them manners and accountability. We go on many outings in the community like e. g. different stores, the zoo, the Fairgrounds etc, to expose them to the community and how to function in it. And we laugh a lot.
