I have babysat for many years, mainly while I was in high school and immediately following in the first couple years of college.

Most of my babysitting work has been done with children who have special needs (please see my special needs caregiver profile for more information), although I have frequently sat for the neighbors and a few other family's in my neighborhood while I was going through high school.

I am fun, energetic, and I love the energy that kids bring out in us adults (even if they can be ornery now and then!). They are a fresh reminder to look at the world in a different perspective. I am willing to play games, make food, and go with the flow! I am not an up tight sitter, but I can be insistent when I need to be and I can command attention and obedience without anybody getting upset :)
