I have cared for children of all ages (infancy through high school), and of various abilities (struggling to gifted). I am creative and energetic, and I really enjoy being with children. I am a former elementary school teacher with 15 + years teaching, homeschooling and tutoring in multi-grade settings with special needs experience as guide/behavioral interventionist providing 1:1 modified ABA therapy and teaching students with autism, ADHD and sensory processing disorder. My most recent experience included working for 2 families in Indianapolis. With one family, I was a nanny taking care of 3 children for a professional couple 3 days a week. For the other family, I was a tutor for a gifted and active 5-year-old for 2 mornings a week while implementing curriculum goals (Connections Academy). I also have experience as a respite care provider with the Virginia Department of Family Services (Adoption and Foster Care).

She was great with my son! She watched him from birth through 5 years old. She taught him so much academically and helped advise on behavior as well. My son has benefited immensely from being in her care.
