I have spent the last 6 years helping care for both of my younger siblings aged 6 and 3 from birth very intensely. Two of my Three younger siblings have a diagnosis of Autism spectrum condition and my younger brother has a diagnosis of Chron's disease and is PEG tube fed. Alongside all of this I have consistently cared for other peoples children outside of my family home, while the parents work or socialise. | My daughter has a complex condition called sanfilippo syndrome it’s a childhood dementia and comes with very complex medical complications I’m very clued up on medication the support and needs of children and elderly with extra care needs im very passionate as it’s very close to my heart at the moment I am working as a mobile cater only spare time but I would love nothing more than to go free lanse and do it for myself

| I have a lot of respect for clients and family's and their decisions, this is important to me as everybody deserves their own rights. I have good communication and understanding skills, I will always listen to a client and have a good level of patience with them; with a sensitive approach at all times. I have worked in a day centre with around 50 service users being teens, adults and elderly people with learning difficulties and disabilities. I would support users with their emotional and physical needs. I also carried out personal care and would support clients with their personal needs such as feeding if needed. I also would prepare meals and refreshments. At the day centre I would encourage service users to join in with activities like cooking, dance/exercise, art and crafts, holistic's. We would also go out on day trips to museums or parks.

| I am a teaching assistant in a speacial needs school and i am looking to help families by taking their child out on respite care or looking after them in the home so parents can do other jobs or activities. I have plenty of experience of working with children with alot of additional needs. I am able to do medication, use communication devices, button changes and trachea changes and suction, use a hoist to help the child, gravity/nasal and pump feeds.
