Childcare in Loughborough

| I am a student at the Oxford University. Im currently taking some time out with plans to return to my studies in October this year. While I don't have any childcare qualifications I have been looking after children for Family & Friends for many years now - contact details provided upon request. I have experience caring for children from 0-14. I have also spent my own childhood and teenage years caring for my autistic mum. I excelled academically myself & I would be well suited to guiding your children through home schooling during Covid-19. I achieved 8 A*s and 3 A's at GCSE; ABE at A-level (due to health issues); a Distinction in the Lady Margaret Hall Foundation Degree & I'm looking towards a First in the Bachelors which I'll resume in the autumn. In these times I want to make work as accessible as possible especially for women who would otherwise be forced to stay home due to the school closures, to reflect this I will not be charging the exorbitant rates that some Oxbridge students are for their tutoring (only minimum wage).

I have cared for up to three children at a time between the ages of 4 months- 11 years old. Although I do not have qualifications for this, I can provide references. When the children I care for were younger we would often go to toddler groups, the park, farms, museums day trips and do lots of art and craft activities. My role has changed as they have got older which now requires me to take them to after school clubs and cook their evening meals. I am married and we have a 4 yeah old boy. In my spare time I enjoy taking my son to the theatre, for walks in the country side. And when I have time I enjoy painting and jewellery making.

| I've been a paid carer for my mum for 3 years who at the time was mentally ill and regressed to a child's mind and had to care for her like I would a child. I have also looked after people's children and many different pets over the years just as a favor. I am the kind of person to take joy in the small things in life and make the best out of any situation. Ever since I was at primary school I knew I wanted to care for children, taking a group of reception children under my wing whilst in year 6.
