| I am psychology graduate from Edinburgh, currently working in an Edinburgh council school. I have lots of years experience with babysitting and working in nurseries. I have a level 3 childcare qualification also, I am first aid trained and child protection trained. I am passionate about working with children, and will be working towards becoming a child psychologist in the next few years. Can only offer work on evenings, weekends and school holidays.

| About Me: Hi, my name is Kirsty I am 20 years old and I am a student at Edinburgh University. I am currently finishing my third year as a Primary Education student and love working with a wide range of children of different ages and from different backgrounds. Experience: Through my university degree I have gained experience working with children who require very specific and different needs and I love learning from each child I have worked with. Including blind and autistic children and a child with down's-syndrome. On these placements I assist the teacher with the children's learning and plan my own activities which align with the school's teaching policy's and curriculum. I have even taken full responsibility for the class for 6 weeks. Therefore, I am able to offer support to young people if they have homework or areas which they are struggling with at school. When I was in High school I volunteered as a young leader in a local Brownie group where my responsibilities included organising craft evenings, music nights and games evenings. I also volunteer at my church's holiday club every summer, where I am a group leader and ensure that the children in my group are involved in each activity and they are having lots of fun.

I also partaken in many youth amateur dramatics shows (which not only means I can entertain) but also means I interact with younger kids regularly. | I have couple years of experience taking care of 4 and 7 year old girls back in Warsaw. I used to pick them up from school, make or serve them dinner, help with homework and take them to after-school activities via public transport. I was always making sure that we spent some free time outdoors whenever possible (and if they were keen to go outside), otherwise we would craft, dance, bake or do something fun and creative. I would be happy to take care of 1 or 2 kids, however if taking care of 2 kids it would affect hourly rate. I come from somewhat big family, grew up taking care of my two younger brothers very often, so I'm very much used to being around children and I find it enjoyable to be in a busy environment. I am looking for an extra source of income on top of working for an event catering company, so jobs on an ad-hoc basis or on Sundays would be ideal, however I will consider other options depending on my schedule, as it might be less busy going into winter. I am based in Edinburgh, do not have driving license, but I'm happy to hop on the bus or take a walk. :)
