After School Care Felixstowe

| I have worked full time for three years in a nursery and Montessori. During my time here, I have worked with children aged 0-5 years, caring for the children, developing their skills and implementing the EYFS. Working with children is my passion and something that comes natural to me. I’m currently starting work at a local primary school, but am looking for babysitting work around these hours - either after school or at the weekend. I have a Level 2 CYPW, a Pediatric First Aid and clean DBS.

| My name is Joanne, I am 33 years of age. I have over 10 years of childcare experience, I am currently childminding for a Family with Three children of primary and high school ages, I really enjoy my current job but am finding the commute a bit too much so am searching for something a bit closer to home. I have previously worked on the children's ward as a teaching assistant also within primary schools within the same role. I have experience in after-school and holiday clubs. I thurughly enjoy working with children and watching them learn grow and progress in life. I am extremely flexible with regards to hours and days, have my own transport am a non smoker and am fine with all pets.

| Being a sports coach for three years, I have plenty of experience when it comes to looking after children of various ages, ranging from as young as six, all the way up fourteen. I have had experience in a childcare/childminding environment having spent many years of my childhood either being looked after by a childminder or by helping out one; as well as having plenty of experience looking after younger relatives. And as someone who is soon to be off to university to study to become a teacher, I already have experience through school and college of working with and caring for young children; as well as having worked for a coaching company who runs after school and holiday camps for young children. Whilst I may not have been in a formal caring environment for a while or with much experience, I bring plenty of enthusiasm and experience in looking after and caring for children. Also have a DBS.

| For most of my adult life I was a stay at home mother that looked after my two girls. I also helped friends that were working mothers with after school care and minding their children during the school holidays. I also enjoy taking care of my two grandchildren who are aged 7 and 4. I’ve always enjoyed children and find their young minds fascinating and keep me young.
