Responsibilities are to provide support to my son and encourage him to take part in a range of activities. He enjoys walks, the playground and generally being outdoors. He struggles with sensory input and often feels the need to touch others and can become fixated on a certain person or object.
Care is required before and after school five days a week though this will soon change to only two mornings but still after school each day every week. Often he will come in and like to hang out at home - the primary responsibility is his safety.
Morning schedule: 07:00 - 08:30
Afternoon schedule: 15:00 - 18:00 (school transport will bring him home).
This position is to last for a minimum of 12 weeks with the possibility of the role becoming permanent after this time.
Full day hours will be required during the half term of 21-25th February.
