Special Needs Care Jobs in Oxford

Are you interested in supporting our son, friendly, 15 years old who has special needs, picking him up from school and walking/cycling him home (only 10 minutes from school) then staying with him for an hour or two, each week on Thursdays and other days on an ad-hoc basis. Job is mainly school holidays but some after school hours may be available, this can be flexible. To provide all care throughout the day, play activities and some learning. Some meal preparation. Supervision and minimal support required with all activities including personal care. Housekeeping tasks relating to child only. First aid training essential.

We are looking for a carer for my 16 year old daughter. She has severe autism with learning difficulties. She has no language and is still in pads. She is a very happy smiley girl but just likes to be at home! Care would include some personal care and some basic feeding Looking for Mondays and Tuesdays 3.30-5.30. Occasional Saturdays hours tbc School holidays there will be more hours available

My sister works full time and has many challenges with three children and a commute as a single mum. Her youngest daughter is autistic with some learning difficulties. She’s very warm, kind and engaging. She requires help with physical issues and would need to build trust with a special carer. Various help is required from school drop off to after school care and play and if at all possible help on ad hoc days when she is off school. Hello We are from Italy and we will be in Cambridge from the 25th of march until the 1st of April and I need a person for my son 16 years old (autism spectrum ) for some hours a day in the afternoon. We are looking for someone to help with the care of our disabled son in the weekdays after school. About 4 hours per day. Duties include helping to toilet and shower him, assisting him to walk to/from toilet, helping him to walk outside with walking frame and taking him for walk in his wheelchair around the village. Helping him to eat his evening meal and supervise him whilst he is drinking. There is also possibility of more hours to help during the school holidays. Shift hours can be flexible to suit the right carer. Own transport would be advantageous but not essential. Good rate of pay on offer for PAYE. Our son is an incredibly giving person despite his disabilities. He would love to meet you!

Tasks include daily evening personal care & grooming, bathing, (un)dressing, hair washing, teeth brushing, reporting.
