Housekeeper in Putney (SW15) Start date: ASAP Must Haves: DBS Check, legal right to work in the UK, previous housekeeping experience for a private family, working spoken English. We are looking for someone to work as a housekeeper and cleaner at a property in Putney for 30 hours, 5 days a week. The hours could be pre-agreed and could follow a pattern of 8am to 3pm or 1pm-7pm – open to discuss. The role is looking after a very busy business woman who lives with her 17 year old daughter. Her second daughter is away at Uni and visits a few times a year. There is a pet cat named Carrot. The candidate will spend their hours at the house doing the following: • Housekeeping (contacting a handyman in case of anything like breakdowns, repairs, leaks heating issues, liaising with gardeners etc..) • Cleaning the house: o Laundry, ironing o Dusting, wiping all surfaces – mirrors, windows, furniture o Hoovering carpets and floor, mopping floors o Making beds and washing bed linen o Clean bathrooms and restock with loo roll and soap o Deep cleaning of all house appliances on a regular basis (deep oven clean, washing machine, descaling of dishwasher and coffee machine etc..) • Placing orders for cat food, basic gorceries • Prepare family meals to freeze so the principal can easily warm up for dinners throughout week (lasagnas, chicken pies, curries etc) • Keep stock of kitchen/house items, order and top up house items like soaps, laundry cleaners, kitchen cleaners, cat food etc.. • On hand to accept deliveries and other packages. Assist with returns for items principal does not keep. • Liaise with myself and the principal in regard to anything needing purchased for the house (example: Sourcing new planter pots for the front of the house, any new furniture or items that you might think would be needed for the house. • Organise cupboards, drawers and closets to the Principal’s liking. Go through with a matter of discretion and confidentiality • Helping prep for family holidays in regard to packing, purchasing any final bits for their trips, top up of travel items • Calling and booking vet to take Carrot for appointments when needed This position/agreement would suit someone who prefers to make their own hours, works well individually and proactively. The person must be independent with a sense of initiative to take tasks on at the property with the family in mind.

Hi, We are looking for a very reliable (minimum absences for valid reasons) and hard working cleaning lady. It’s job is a regular role for every Saturday and Sunday afternoon (minus school breaks) for 3 hours per day at £15/hour. We pay over bank transfer and you need to deal with your taxes. The job is demanding but doable - three bedrooms and two bathrooms + a living room, but not everything needs to be perfect because we have also a cleaning lady during the week, so it’s best effort for the time slot offered. Good day, we are looking for a long term self-employed housekeeper that can help us for 3-4 hours. Tasks: change bed sheets, run a washing machine of bed sheets and towels, clean, vacuum, mop the floor (one bedroom, two bathrooms) and, most of all, tidy up a bit.
