I am also able to support children academically if needed.

| I grew up in Kelowna and have done a fair amount of work with children. I was working as a swim instructor for almost four years and absolutely love getting to interact with the children. I was also very involved at my church in Kelowna, working with children age 1-15 regularly through the week. I have done a lot of Sunday morning classroom environment setting work at my church as well as working at our day camps that run during the summer. Once I graduated Highschool I moved to Surrey where I went to Pacific Life Bible College to get my Assosiates in Theology. While I was there, I was a full time nanny to a family in White Rock with four children for just under 2 years. Then my husband and I moved to Maple Ridge for his job where I was a nanny for a family with two kids for 5 months. My husband and I recently moved back Kelowna to be closer to family. I left both past nanny jobs on a very positive note and only left both due to my husband and I relocating. Since being in Kelowna, my husband has been working as a Grade School Coordinator at Trinity Church, and I have been managing at an after school program. We both love what we do, but are struggling finically to make ends meet and see value in us getting second jobs.

I was taking care of a wonderful 3-year-old girl, and loved every minute of my au pair experience. My duties included drop offs and pick ups, preparing light meals and planning daily activities with her. Before leaving for Australia, I was the nanny for 3-year-old twin girls in Kelowna. | Hi! I'm Alexandra, but everyone calls me Alex, or Lexie. I'm 25 and just recently moved to Kelowna from Edmonton, so I'm looking for a nanny position within this area. I was a nanny for a family back home for four years from the age of 18 to 22, but took a few years off to finish university and get some office experience under my belt. I really do enjoy looking after kids though, hence, me giving this site a try. The family I cared for had three kids- ages 1, 6 and 8. Basically, I was responsible for everything in their day from waking them up until they went to bed as the parents ran their own business and were really busy. During the day, while the older ones were at school, in between taking care of the little b, I did house work and meal prep for them to help (as well as Admin/accounts work for them too). I have my own car and valid licence too, which helps a lot. Plus, tones of energy, so I'm always interacting with kids and hate the idea of sitting them in front of the TV. And, my help goes beyond just child care- if you need an errand run, just ask, and I will not mind at all. Anything to make your life a little easier!

| Hello families of Kelowna! I am looking to be a nanny for 1 child/baby, or more if driving isn’t needed. (I have my class 7 drivers, so i cannot drive around more than one child at a time.) I’m looking for a family who needs a weekly caregiver for their young child/children. $18/hr, but I’m open for negotiations. Info about me: I am a responsible, fun, and nurturing person, and i absolutly love caring for little ones. I grew up caring for my younger siblings, and have lots of experience with babies and children. Most of my experience of childcare has been volunteered, with my family and friends. But I have had a few paid babysitting jobs as well. I haven’t been certified in first aid yet, but am planning in the very near future to be. I am a birth/postpartum doula as well, and have experience with newborns, feedings, diaper changes, putting to sleep, etc. I am a newlywed and looking for a job that I can pour my heart and talent into, and I think nurturing, and taking care of little kiddies is one of my strongest areas.
