I grew up in Kelowna and have done a fair amount of work with children. I was working as a swim instructor for almost four years and absolutely love getting to interact with the children. I was also very involved at my church in Kelowna, working with children age 1-15 regularly through the week. I have done a lot of Sunday morning classroom environment setting work at my church as well as working at our day camps that run during the summer. Once I graduated Highschool I moved to Surrey where I went to Pacific Life Bible College to get my Assosiates in Theology. While I was there, I was a full time nanny to a family in White Rock with four children for just under 2 years. Then my husband and I moved to Maple Ridge for his job where I was a nanny for a family with two kids for 5 months. My husband and I recently moved back Kelowna to be closer to family. I left both past nanny jobs on a very positive note and only left both due to my husband and I relocating. Since being in Kelowna, my husband has been working as a Grade School Coordinator at Trinity Church, and I have been managing at an after school program. We both love what we do, but are struggling finically to make ends meet and see value in us getting second jobs.
