I started working as an elder care giver in 2016. My duties have included laundry, meal preparation, cleaning, running errands, transporting to doctor appointments and other general appointments, managing medication box and refills, as well as personal hygiene.. .. I. e.. bathing and showers, brushing teeth, hair, etc. I am very good at what I do and care very deeply for my clients.

I am a Social Worker by profession but have not worked in the field since having children. When my daughters were young, I was a stay-at-home mom and cared for other children in my home. When my daughters started school, I became very involved in the school where they attended. I volunteered 10 hours a week in the special needs classroom, five hours a week with the ESL program and was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for many years. Additionally, I was very involved with the PTO and a CCD volunteer. After my kids were settled in school, I started substitute teaching but didn't find it very gratifying because I was always at different schools never having a chance to know the children. 11 years ago, I took a full-time position as a lunch lady at a high school originally for convenient school hours, but continued because I loved being around kids all day! After work, I was employed by a family who needed their children met at the bus, homework help and general fun. I'm choosing not to return to the high school in the fall as they have outsourced a new catering company. I know I'd much prefer to be a caregiver to children, I can spend more time with and truly help to make a difference. I am dependable, loving and trustworthy, and fingerprinted and background checked as it is a requirement for those working in the school system. My daughters are in college now and I have a lot of time on my hands and I believe there would be no better way to spend it than caring for your children. My commitment and loyalty to you and your family would be very strong as I hold these two factors in the highest regard. I am a woman who has always loved to work and take care of elderly I love children and elderly they are the two best things in life it is wonderful to see either smile and do things for them that they cannot do for their selves I was the oldest of 6 it does come naturally to me I also love cleaning and organizing running errands used to clean houses with my mother and my aunt on weekends growing up ( also recently have had several employers and cleaning experience thought I would update and it's been a year-and-a-half since I first put profile on and I have been cleaning several houses in that time ) have always been an organizer and organize people's garages for extra money these are things I enjoy and now at my age I like making money doing things I enjoy my career was it was in government for many years when my daughter graduated I decided to go back to what I love and felt rewarded after a Long Day's Work at getting something done or taking care of someone

I grew up with pets so I truly understand how they are part of our family. Missing our family dog, Callie who passed almost two years ago led me to start fostering and boarding dogs and cat ( sometimes birds! ).

Hi! I am a mom to a 5-year-old, as well as a past Pre-K Teacher, and a past Sunday school Teacher. I have 20+ years experience babysitting kids of all ages, including newborns, ages 0-12, multiples, and special needs. I have a CPR/First Aid certification, an IVP Fingerprint Clearance card, a ServSafe Food Handlers Certification, and a college degree. I babysit on the evenings and weekends, and I am looking to add a couple families to my babysitting roster, who are looking for 1-4 consistent nights a month :)
