HI! I am disabled and my husband is in for surgery and will need recovery time after getting home so I am looking for someone to come 2-3 times a week and help me feed and clean enclosures for our bearded dragons, leopard geckos and chameleon. My lizards are my kids (my human kids are grown and gone) and I am looking for someone who can help me give them the best care. We also have a dog and cats in the home, may ask for small tasks like changing the litter box. We've got 12 bearded dragons (we do rescue) and 14 adult leopard geckos and this years hatchlings. The first visit will be a bit more than afterwards because the enclosures are needing cleaned right now. The slate tiles in the dragons tanks will need to come out and be cleaned and sanitized and we use a wet/dry vet to suck up leftovers. It's not heavy work but it can get tedious cleaning them. Hubby couldn't handle things before he went in the hospital. Would run through the end of January at least. We feed super worms and salad to the dragons, I can help with it I just can't stand and walk enough to gather dishes myself. After initial cleaning it would be just wiping down the tile and picking up any messes for the dragons. The Leopard geckos it's putting meal worms in their dishes and changing their paper towels out and sometimes wiping down their tubs. Chameleon doesn't take much care, just a scoop of crickets like once a week. I work from home so I would be here to help and answer any questions. Sundays and Wednesdays are the best days for me. Let me know if you're interested and what you would be charging hourly. I would really like to get things cleaned up by Wednesday because I'm expecting him home Wednesday or Thursday and know he'll be trying to do it if I haven't gotten it done.
If it's something you'd be interested in please let me know.
