I am thankful to have found Vivian for taking care of one year old. She was very patient and flexible to make sure that my boy gets adjusted to Daycare. My son is very happy with her and has become sharp and friendly. She is very caring and encouraging in making him learn new things.

I broght my son over to Ms. Viv's daycare during summer of 2018. We were welcomed in to a loving and nurturing environment. She took amazing care of my son. Everyday my son engaged into educational fun filled activities that helped him blossomed into a smart, funny, creative, independent little boy. Thank you Ms. Vivian!

Viv is the best! She has been caring for my 2 children (4&7) for over a couple years and my kids love her. She is more like family then a childcare provider. Having worked with children myself, I know that it takes so much more then just babysitting, she looks at the whole child. She customizes the curriculum to them personally and I have seen some positive social emotional development with my daughter. Viv is such a caring and special woman and I'll be sad when my daughter leaves for TK this next school year.

As a director of a high quality, center based preschool where Miss Viv began her career working with children, I was thrilled when my daughter enrolled my grandchildren in Shining Star. Viv engages with the children in her care in a responsive & respectful way, while providing a curriculum that focuses on all areas of development. She has been a great support to my daughter's family as they welcomed their second child. My granddaughter, now 4 years old, is excited to tell me what she has learned at Shining Star, most recently observing caterpillars turning into "chrysalis" before becoming butterflies. My grandson has been with Viv since he was an infant , transitioning into the warm & loving environment with ease. Due to the stimulating activities he engages in, he began walking at 10 months of age. Shining Star is a wonderful home child care for children to be cared for and thrive in their development.

As a working Mom, I feel at ease leaving my children in the care of Viv. She is great with children! She has great interaction, very respectful and patient, sets out engaging activities, and so loving towards the children. It is so nice to see how happy both my children are at pick up. Love bringing my kids here and am so blessed to have Viv be a great influence for my girls.

Viv is fantastic! I wish I could pack her up & take her with our family when we move next month! She truly takes care of my babies (4 & 1) as if they were her own. Viv doesn't just "watch our kids" she is an educator as well, teaching them way more than I can in a day! Every Sunday our oldest asks if she can go to "Miss Vivian's tomorrow"....I know its because she feels safe & loved...and has a ton of fun!
