Where do I start?
Mind Builder at Laguna Hills is absolutely amazing! All three of my children have gone to this home daycare. My oldest is 7 years old and she started at Mind Builder when she was one. My youngest is 8 months old and he is currently enrolled. Dia and Elsie are quite the duo. They welcome every child with open arms, every morning. I have referred many families to Dia. I am a preschool teacher and was previously an infant caregiver for 5 years for a corporate daycare in the surrounding area. I chose Mind Builder for my children over my previous workplace as a corporate child care teacher, which says a lot. I have a Bachelors Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from CSUF. So when I tell you this school is amazing, I know what I am talking about. The importance of having a caring, warm hearted caregiver is necessary for a young child to thrive. The positive connections that are established at a young age will effect their future relationships with others. Dia and Elsie are genuine, wise, and kind. I love that Dia keeps the ratio low (1:3) which gives the children more one-on-one time with the caregivers. You will NOT get this at a corporate daycare where the ratio is (1:4) for infants alone.
Ultimately, I highly recommend this school. If you are looking for high quality care (as if a family member was caring for your child), choose Dia and Elsie. Choose Mind Builder!

Dia and her staff are fantastic. My two year old daughter always loves going to daycare. They do great activities with the kids, hold fun events for holidays and birthdays, and help my daughter to continue her growth and learning. We know the kids here are safe, well attended to and loved. We feel lucky to have found this place.

Our daughter is one year old and we we're seeking the best possible services as would normal parents do. We visited several child care centres but felt like the personal attention was lacking. When we visited Dia at Mind Builders, the immediate attention she gave our daughter was beyond expectations. From the way she spoke to her, the pristine attention combined with a natural desire to educate her was highly convincing that we we're at the right place. As a mother dealing with the first detachment, Dia was professional in letting me know how important it was for our child to connect with her so they could build a trusted relationship (While she was explaining this, our daughter was already in her arms and super comfortable). At that point I was relieved and convinced that she was in good hands. Dia followed up with re-assuring updates through the day and she still provides that same attention weeks later. We highly recommend Mind Builder at the Hills.

My husband and I are so relieved to have found Mind Builder at the Hills. Dia is just wonderful with our 14 month old son, Max. Before when we dropped him off to other corporate daycares he would start to cry and grab on to us as we passed him over to the care takers. It was traumatic for us and Max. When I drop him off at Mind Builders, he doesn't whine or cry at all. He is greeted with a huge smile from Dia and he smiles right away at her. She always picks him up and gives him a big hug, which makes me feel so good. Sometimes I feel guilty that I am not at home watching Max, but I have to work so it is a huge relief to know that Dia really cares about him and she is taking care of him. She also gives us emails and texts throughout the day about how he is doing. I love getting photo texts of him doing activities. During his first week there, Dia texted a photo of him coloring (or trying to color) and it was wonderful to get that while I was at work. Her house is clean and she always has activities for him to do. I know she doesn't just plop Max in front of the tv and leave him there all day. I highly recommend giving Mind Builder at the Hills a try. Dia is responsible and really cares about the kids. I am very happy we found her........ Amanda Beck
