It is best to let the child drink 1 to 2 Oz.at a time. Most providers won't take on a child with this condition because it is very time-consuming. your child was doing very well and did not lose any weight while in my care.
Any doctor will tell you that things are going great if your child has plenty of wet and poopy diapers. when I was concerned about his daily intake you were not. you must keep in mind that when you are breastfeeding feeding and expressing the milk your child may drink more or less during a feeding. we are dealing with a newborn so he is still learning which way he prefers the feedings. it is very confusing to him if he latches on at home then he has to come to daycare and only receive a bottle. then keep in mind you were away from him 9 to 11.5 hours a day. I did everything that you asked of me. I was very supportive of you and had a wonderful bond with your son. he received daily mouth as well as full-body exercises. as far as napping in the car seat, yes a few times he did nap in the seat. remember he has acid reflux. The best thing to do is to put him in the upright position. just a reminder that is what you asked of me in the interview. again I must state your child was in a small group setting.
I have rules I must follow being a childcare provider, parents think that since I am not licensed that I don't follow the rules. I am not a Nanny, Para, Therapist, or Nurse.
I provide care to 4 or fewer nonrelated children. In the interview, I stated we all must be on the same page with the care I provide. I was not overwhelmed, and I never complained about doing my job. I was kind and very patient with your son. I won't stand for rude people and that is what your son's father was that morning. His wording was disrespectful to me. it's not what you say to people it's how you say it.
