My name is Jenise and I am licensed for a large in-home childcare in the state of Colorado. I have many years' experience caring for children within the foster care system, adults with special needs and running my own childcare for over 7 years. I have been caring for children for over 15 years.
My program is based on the Montessori method although we also incorporate Waldorf and Reggio Emilia. The children move through the activities at their own pace, so they fully grasp the concepts and reach their individual education milestones and goals.
Our topics of study change monthly, and I encourage the children to try new activities daily. We love the outdoors and spend a lot of our time exploring outside. We do tons of fieldtrips in the summer and like to spend time at the local parks as weather permits throughout the school year.
I offer breakfast, lunch and two snacks daily. I also provide all diapering needs (minus diaper rash cream) for all children under the age of 2 years.
