We are so happy and grateful every day that we found Nana's Family Home Day Care. Nana's (Nancy's) loving and caring home was the reason I felt comfortable going back to work. A day didn't go by, that I didn't think the only reason I can be at work and not at home is that I trusted Violet was having a wonderful time, was safe, and very well cared for.

It was a blessing to get Violet in Nana's program and we know that Violet is very well prepared to start school this year. Violet learned counting, color identification, her ABCs, music, art, exercises/yoga/dancing, kindness, and respect which enabled her to be outgoing, independent, and respectful of others.

Nana's Family Home Day Care won Bucks County Early Childhood Educator of the Year for good reason. The combination of Nana's vast professional and parenting experience placed in a unique home/daycare setting is an unparalleled mix.

Our son has been coming to Nana's from the time he was seven months old in January 2017 to the present. We have been very happy with Nana's the entire time. Our son is always happy and laughing when we come to pick him up at the end of the day. He is always clean and well taken care of. Nancy has taught him about sharing and being nice to the other children, and we have seen him follow these lessons when we are at the library, playground, etc. Nancy has always been flexible and accommodating with our work schedules. She always has a nice little gift or treat for the holidays and other special occasions.

We would highly recommend Nana's to anyone looking for a daycare provider for their young child.

We were lucky enough to send our daughter to Nana's Daycare when I went back to work and our daughter was just about 1. Nana (Nancy) was a wonderful provider who always uses compassion when working with children.

It is easy to see that she truly cares about children and loves what she does. She takes the time to get to know each child, as well as their families. Our daughter was happy to attend Nana's daycare and took pride in showing us what she did everyday when we would pick her up; in fact our daughter would be sad when we were leaving.

In addition to this, the children that attend Nana's daycare develop a great bond with Nana and each other. It was always cute to see them play together and give hugs "bye-bye" when leaving. I highly recommend Nancy!

As a parent, one can understand it is very difficult to place their first child in the hands of another person. Ideally my husband would have loved for me to stay at home with our child, but it was unfortunate I had a job that I loved and didn't want to give up. Having visited multiple daycare facilities, we knew Nana's Daycare was the place for our child after speaking with Nancy about how her daycare was operated and the recommendation from another parent who had their child there.

Nana's Daycare provided all of the necessary needs. My child came home often with "artwork" that allowed them to have letter and number recognition as well as having hands on experiences of teaching how to cut, paste, and color. They played outside every day or had music playing so they all danced inside for daily exercise.
On top of educational aspects, Nancy was the most nurturing person I had ever met. She is kind, giving, and very patient with all of the kids.

Nancy is a compassionate, generous, and dedicated daycare provider with so much energy, that I wasn't sure how she kept up with all of the children.
She always gave hugs and kisses to all of the children and never raised a voice to any of the children ever. I always enjoyed dropping and picking up my child because she was so cheerful.
Overall, I highly recommend Nana's Daycare. She is a beautiful person who operates a great daycare.

We started our daughter with Nancy at 12 weeks of age and kept her there until she started preschool this year. I cannot say enough about Nancy and her program. She is a supremely sweet person and the only caregiver we interviewed who made us feel like she saw our daughter's special qualities the way we do. Her experience both as a teacher and a mother make her uniquely qualified to care for and educate kids at every level. I highly recommend Nancy Ackerman!

Nana (Nancy) is amazing! I used her for my first son from 3 months until he was 3 years old (we moved out of state). She has a great environment for the children to play and learn. Nana plays games, does arts, and teaches the children in a very warm and structured environment. I would highly recommend her.
