My child has attended Ms. Lisa's school for the past year. At first Ms. Lisa was very Sweet and well spoken.
Shortly after I noticed Ms. Lisa was over charging me. She never informed me that she was receiving more money than she was supposed to. When I brought it to her attention she was more upset at me for bringing it to her attention then I was about losing money. I decided although, I didn't like what was done. I did not want to remove my child and make him start at a new school and have to deal with meeting new teachers. Till this day Ms. Lisa has not reimbursed me and there has been no further conversation about what happened with my payments.

On a different occasion one day I pick up my son from daycare and he has what looks like a handprint on his face. I noticed shorty after we arrived home that evening. I messaged Ms. Lisa asking what happened, I trust that Ms. Lisa would not harm my child, I did not ask her with any assumptions or anger, I simply asked what happened to his face. She immediately says this did not happen in her care. After hearing this I was extremely upset cause she would then be insinuating I took him home, did something to him, and tried to blame it on her.
The next day at drop off I planned to speak with her in person , she immediately informs me, he had an allergic reaction after telling me that this did not even happen in her care. I chose to believe what she had to say. I do believe he had allergic reaction as the mark did fade away soon after.

I wholeheartedly do not recommend this daycare. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Lisa is a very nice woman in the beginning getting to know her but when or if you have an issue with her she is very rude and unprofessional. She had a maintenance issue at her house and cancelled daycare but failed to inform me until the morning of as I was getting ready to drop my son off and head to work. When I texted her back saying that she never told me she said that she did inform me of daycare closing ahead of time and proceeded to say "PARENTS WERE REMINDING ME ABOUT DAYCARE CLOSING" and I have a screenshot of this as well. Why are parents informing and reminding you about daycare closing ? I am a medical assistant that works directly with doctors so her telling me the morning of inconvenienced my entire day. The next day I came to her with respect and patience. I walked in and greeted her as normal and told her I would like to address what happened with the miscommunication and she cut me off immediately and said with attitude "Miscommunication on my part because I forgot that she told me she was not holding day care on the day of speaking". Immediately she had an attitude and became very defensive and started going back and forth with me. I asked her even if she did tell me ONE time a week ago (as she kept saying) why did she not remind me in the morning when I dropped my son off the day before? She had nothing to say and I tried to move on with the conversation to speak about the future moving forward and she insisted on placing blame on me. If she allegedly informed me I would have planned my morning accordingly because that day I had a doctor coming in the office with many patients. Instead of talking about moving forward she became more aggressive and rude; as well as deflecting by bringing up other things that had nothing to do with the situation.

To speak more about that conversation, she brought up the fact that I owed her money when I asked her three times prior to my son starting how much money I owed and each time she told me she would get back to me. In addition she brought up the fact that she was more worried about reviews. She said and I quote "Why would I not tell you about cancelling daycare if I could get a bad review. I wouldn't do that to myself". I have no reason to lie and she allegedly has video so whom ever gets to see her and she brings up this situation I hope she shows the video with audio because I am not a confrontational person and her body language, tone and words were all RUDE from the beginning. In addition she supposedly closes at 6pm but has an attitude if you can't pick your child up by 5-5:30pm. She also does not keep any strollers inside her house so if you have a baby their stroller would have to stay outside even if it's raining or snowing. When I picked my son up and told her that I was no longer bringing him she began to talk to me rudely again and I matched her level because as a parent who would want to be spoken to that way especially if your child is attending this daycare ?
I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

I searched and will continue to search high and low for a daycare. I thought I found the perfect space for my child. However the communication is a huge opportunity. There was a lot of back and forth on both end as Felicia is not very clear and I had a lot of questions being a 1st time mom.I only needed my child to there for 3 days a week which was always clear. She then asked me was I sure because the child that previously held the spot wanted to come back. I told her I was 100% sure and would move forward due to us not wanting the spot to be taken. I paid the $150 enrollment fee only to receive another message from her asking if my child was coming 3 days a week and to confirm the start date. I replied to her and even called her to clarify and did not receive a response. The next morning I got an auto email stating that my child was unenrolled with no communication from Felicia. I had to give her a call for her to explain the me that the spot was no longer available and was given to a family that was coming fulltime. With all that being said I just wish she was clear from the beginning that she preferred a fulltime family. I unfortunately cannot afford my child to be in daycare fulltime but I would have started searching elsewhere if that information was made clear. I also didn't appreciate them accepting my money then going with another family not even 24hrs later with little to no communication. Not very nice , unprofessional and poor communication. The facility is nice and I pray she is able to improve in those areas.

Lisa's daycare has been an incredible thing for our 8 month old daughter and our family. As a first time mom I was very nervous about transitioning back to work and all that came with that process, but Lisa and everyone who works at Lisa's daycare has done everything and more to make the transition as wonderful and positive as possible. My daughter is SO happy every morning when I drop her off, and her development skills have grown exponentially since being therr. Everyone who works there is loving, professional, respectful, and most of all, kind. I am so happy to be able to work with Lisa's daycare and that my daughter gets to be a part of their daycare family.

I enrolled my 1 year old at Lisa's and my experience has been warm and very professional. This is definitely a place where I can go to work comfortably knowing that my child is in good and safe hands. My son is thriving educationally and is learning alot . I wholeheartedly recommend Lisa's Little Sunshine.

I could not ask for more. My daughter has deen taken care of by Lisa's Little Sunshine 2 years now. I most say they go above and beyond to make sure my daughter is clean, fed, and educated. They are warm friendly people who care about every child in their care. I would definitely recommend Lisa's Little Sunshine . They are A+ in my book.
