We love Lily Pads. Our daughter has been going for a few months now, and in this short time we've seen her grow and change for the better - from learning new words to putting toys away to coming home with a treasure trove of new songs and games.

We signed up originally because we had another baby on the way and we needed our daughter to have care and undivided attention. Lily Pads has been our lifeline for these hectic times. We get frequent updates from an app which shows pictures and notes about the day so we have peace of mind when our daughter is there. We also get weekly emails about plans for the upcoming week - our daughter especially loves the music teacher that visits and teaches about instruments, singing, and dancing. Our daughter has really blossomed at Lily Pads - she literally skips down the path into school every day, and when she leaves her friends line up at the door and wave goodbye. It's so heartwarming to see. The teachers are kind, patient, and smart. Their experience with young children is very evident. They've been communicative with us about any issues with our daughter which we really appreciate.

A daycare has to be part art and part science - the art of dealing with young children and the science of running a professional business. Lily Pads nails it on all fronts - the invoicing system is easy to pay online. Owner Leah is on top of it - I even called her the other day to ask about potty training advice and switching from a crib to a toddler bed. We have no complaints - I have friends with daycare horror stories and thankfully we can't relate. Definitely recommend this daycare - we will be sticking with them for as long as we're in the area!

Our baby daughter is with them since more than a year now and we and specially her are very happy. We are very impressed with the diversity of activities they do, even for infants. We regularly receive photos and videos on our phone and email of the kids having music class or painting or dancing or just playing and interacting with each other and having fun. Those photos are incredibly precious! Special for first time parents. We are now expecting our second baby, who will luckily join his sister there. They are also very attentive to your kid and very caring.

I recommend this daycare with no reservations!

My kids are 21 months and absolutely love LilyPads. We started with a nanny so were looking for a place that would make for a smooth transition to daycare. LilyPads has made the transition even better than I could have imagined. Every day they run into school excited to play with friends and have really started enjoying music (they have weekly music classes) and are talking more and more. While it is very play-based, they are learning so much from the teachers and the other kids. The owner and teachers are also very accommodating to the individual needs and have very open and frequent communication. We love LilyPads and feel so fortunate to have found them!

I absolutely love Lilypads. I live in Silver Spring at the moment, and work in College Park (at UMD), so it's *really* out of the way -- but it's so much better than any other daycare that I've seen that it's worth it. I've visited at least 5 other daycares in the area, and they simply don't compare.

The kids at Lilypads are happy, they have lots of toys, loving and energetic teachers, and plenty of activities. My two year old daughter talks about her activities all the time, and is really enthusiastic about them.

Whenever she is gone from Lilypads for a long time, she wakes up happy about going there. It's vastly superior to her old daycare in CA, which was considered to be the best in the area.

I really can't speak highly enough of this place. If you want peace of mind that you're leaving your kid in good, loving, energetic arms, look no further.

Our daughter has been at Lily Pads since she was 1 when we transitioned her there after her first year with a nanny so that she would have more peer interaction. I cannot begin to describe the ways in which she has thrived. She speaks in full sentences (she's not even 2 yet!!), comes home talking about the things she's learned, loves the friends she has made and doesn't want to leave at the end of the day when we come to pick her up. We are so lucky that we found Lily Pads - we can't imagine having her anywhere else and will likely have any future children start there from the start.

Our daughter has been going to Lilypads since she was 12 months old, and she loves it! We searched for (and found in Lilypads) a daycare that was loving and communicative, with personal attention for our girl, as she was having a rough transition to being outside the home. Leah and Brenda are lovely caregivers- very kind, warm, and treat each kid like they are special. We have been especially pleased with the level of communication and honesty from the staff, which helped earn our trust quickly. Lilypads is truly an exceptional daycare for little ones!

My son started going to Lily Pads when he was 14 mos. old and I wish I had sent him even earlier. He has so much fun there, and the staff is really caring. They did a great job of transitioning him into the day care world, as he started at an older age than most kids who go to day care. I was a stay at home mom until I injured myself to the point of not being able to care for the baby by myself anymore, and they are extra helpful in making sure that I can get in and out of the facility without re-straining myself, which shows an element of care that many facilities cannot support. But most importantly, I've seen a wonderful change in my son as he's become more socialized, educated, and generally so happy to be with other kids during the day. Even when my injury has completely healed, we will be sending him to Lily Pads so that he can continue his path of learning.

My son has been at Lily Pads for almost two years now. We feel very lucky to have found this daycare right when we did! Our son is a very social little guy and has really thrived there. He gets lots of love and attention from the caretakers and enjoys hanging out with all his pals. He LOVES the weekly "music class" (usually includes live guitar music). As a new mom, I was pretty clueless about all kinds of things so have really appreciated all the helpful tips and advice I continue to get from the caretakers and other parents on all kinds of issues. We enjoy the daily photos and video clips -- several have even made it onto our holiday cards! I highly recommend them.

Both my children go to Lily Pads, and we couldn't be happier. Our toddler started going there when she was three months old, and we were thrilled we were able to send our infant daughter there as well. Lily Pads is such a loving, caring environment. Both our girls light up when they get in the door, and occasionally cry when it's time to go home! We never worry about them during the day, and the pictures and videos we get of them every day are priceless.

Our daughter went to Lily Pads part time for almost 4 years and had a great experience. The caregivers are all excellent and she would run into their arms on arrival! My wife and I really appreciated the in-home atmosphere and great level of attention. Lily Pads helped our daughter learn a lot through craft projects she really enjoyed, and the materials were always included. We whole heartedly recommend Lily Pads.

Our son has been at Lily Pads for a year and a half and we highly recommend it. The staff is very caring and full of energy, they do a great job of helping the kids adjust to the daycare environment when they are just starting. We feel great knowing that our son is getting excellent care and always having so much fun. They have a great mix of educational and socializing activities. Also, getting pictures and videos of the kids during the day is priceless!

My daughter has been at Lily Pads for almost two years- since she was 3 months old. We trust them so much with our daughter's welfare and education that we can't imagine having sent her anywhere else. Our daughter wakes up on weekends asking to go there. It's an amazing place and any child would be lucky to be a part of the Lily Pads family.

My son has been at Lily Pads for almost two years and we love it. We started with an in-home nanny and as our son got a little older we wanted more socialization for him, but we weren't ready for a large child care center. This was the perfect situation for us. It's a small enough group that our son gets personal attention, but he also has the opportunity to interact with other children. The care and communication is great. They send photos or videos during the day, every day. They have a curriculum or theme every week. As a bonus, they were a great help in potty training! I definitely recommend Lily Pads!
