Hello parents/guardians!
I was just in your shoes this time last year, searching on care.com for a nurturing environment that has the structure of a childcare center, but the flexibility, personal touch, small numbers, and price of an at-home daycare, and boy are they hard to find! And so, that's exactly what I plan to provide for you and your little loved one, if you feel that we would be a good fit. My name is Jessica (Jes) Schwandt, and I am a former teacher with a 19 month old son of my own. I taught 5th grade for 7 years at Ross Elementary School, but prior to my teaching experience, the majority of my college experience and placements were in Early Childhood (ages 1-5). I also have babysitting experience that dates back to middle school!

I would love to help you with your childcare needs for this school year! I'm only looking to take on 2 more children, since I will have my own son (all 5 days), and my best friend's son 3 days a week. No preference for age, except that I will only watch 1 newborn at any given time. I would prefer full-time inquiries, but let me know if you need care for only a few days a week, as I may still be able to make that work! I'm in the process of getting CPR and First Aid certified, and already have all of my updated clearances from being a teacher. I look forward to hearing from you and chatting about more details!
