As a former nanny, I had high expectations of care for my little ones! My daughters (4) and (16weeks) at the time, had never been to a daycare or anyone other than family before.
Jackie was fabulous. She didn't mind my text check-ins during the day and I loved the updates during my lunch hour. My older girl loved the 'school work' provided and always wished there was 'more school!' to do all day!
Teddy bear picnics and outdoor play were always talked about afterwards so the fresh air/engaging play with others was great and plenty of cuddles for the baby.

Jackie has been caring for my child for over 2 years. She is easy to work with, kind, caring, and dependable. I love the small home environment and that my daughter has formed a very strong bond with Jackie and her family.

Jackie focuses on learning from the start of your child's experience with her. She always has fun, creative activities That teach the children something and that they enjoy. They have lots of outside time in the summer and in the winter if you bring their outside clothes she makes sure they get out on the good days.

Jackie also takes safety and health very seriously and teaches the children good hygiene from the start. She also cleans the toys that the kids play with each day to prevent the spread of germs. She is very reasonable with her expectations of parents around the health of their child, and expects that you will keep your sick child home for the health of everyone else. Jackie has handled Covid-19 with grace and managed to only be closed for a couple of weeks while she created a plan to safely bring children back.

The safety and well being of all the children is her highest priority. She is happy to trouble shoot problem behaviors and has a been a great resource to me as a first time parent of a strong willed, spirited girl. Jackie did research and came up with a plan so that everyone would have a good day as often as possible. my daughter needs choices so she feels in control and Jackie quickly realized that and interacts with my child in the way that works best for her.

Jackie is a staple in our lives and we plan to be with her for the rest of our child care years. She is amazing you won't be disappointed if you choose her home for your child while you bring home the bacon!

Jackie provides a home away from home for our little girl (Gretchen now 18 months). Gretchen has been there since I returned from maternity leave and always seems happy at drop off (and for those few difficult mornings during the 'separation anxiety phase', Jackie always reassured me). Jackie is transparent, has an open door policy, keeps kids of different ages busy with projects, and has helped provide ideas to us as new parents. When we first searched for daycare, we met with several in-home providers and centers. Jackie made me feel the most at ease. As a first time mom, this was essential. I can call and Jackie always picks up or calls back within a very short time (i.e. minutes). She follows daycare center State guidelines and is very reasonable during cold/flu season and this was very important to me considering my occupation (public health). My daughter had very few illnesses compared to what would be predicted for her first year. The other children are always respectful and it is a welcoming environment. I highly recommend you contact Jackie if you are looking for a home like setting that provides a safe, happy, and educational environment for kids to grow and learn.

Jackie Shupe is tops as far as a daycare provider goes! Two big thumbs up! She has watched both our children (Ian and Allison) since they were 3 months old. Ian is now almost 7 years old and holds the title for the longest child ever at her daycare. There is no other place he would rather be! Allison is 4 and loves it there to! My wife Heather and I view Jackie and her family as true friends and simply rave about how blessed we are to have her and her family look after our 2 children. If anyone wants to speak to me in more detail I would be happy to chat about how wonderful she is with children. Just shoot me an email.
