We used Glynda's services for over 7 months, and for a while everything was working and things were a great fit. Unfortunately, a few times, politics were able to be involved, our child was fed solids without our consent. This was while we were introducing foods and testing for allergies, we were made aware after the fact...that Glynda was feeding her foods and not informing us of what/when, how much she ate, or if she enjoyed it.

Her home is off limits to you as a parent, which means you aren't able to see or experience the environment that your child interacts in, and there aren't pictures or videos shared throughout any days of care.

Our services were terminated by Glynda, when we were notified at 4pm on a weekday, that our daughter had been throwing up and vomiting for 6 hours, without our knowledge. It was only when the first phone call was made to myself and my wife, (which we missed because we were working) and by the time we returned the calls, no more than 10-15 minutes later, we were met with screaming, temper, accusations, and no empathy. She terminated our services over the phone, and when we picked up our daughter, there was no fever or diagnosable illness. For that reason, our emergency contact wasn't notified, but our services were still terminated. It's only after I threatened legal action, that Glynda surrendered the refund for services not rendered, but this caused an unfathomable amount of issues for us...as our search was now beginning for child care all over again...

Our family has been with Glynda for the past 2 years and we cannot recommend her enough. She has cared for our daughter since she was 3 months old (she's now 2) and now watches our son. I love that she cares for the kids like they are her own. When our daughter was struggling to adapt to a new formula, Glynda was so patient with her and went above and beyond to help with the transition. She offers the kids a healthy lunch every day, has a huge playroom with tons of toys, and offers personalized care for each child, depending on their needs. We are so lucky we found her!

My spouse and I cannot recommend Glynda enough! It is evident that she loves our daughter so much, which is one of the greatest things we could ask for in a provider. Our daughter leaves each day smiling and waving at Glynda, a true testament to the care she receives each and every day. We feel comfortable knowing our daughter is in a safe and clean environment that is a loving home versus an industrial daycare. She gets to play outside near a large Oak tree, listen to the birds chirp, view all the amazing plants Glynda cares for, and even recently able to view an Owl house! The quality of care Glynda provides is unparalleled. The kiddos eat real food, focused on great nutrition for their growing bodies. We will be so sad to leave Glynda and we know our daughter will miss her tremendously.

It has been a very enjoyable experience having our daughter enrolled in Glynda's daycare. Very easy to work with, safe environment, and good food for the kids. She's very honest and overall has the best interest of our daughter in mind at all times.

We've been sending our 6 month old here since he was 3 months old and he has had amazing care. Ms Glynda treats him like her own child and his development has been amazing with her.

The daycare is incredible safe. Ms Glynda has been a children's nurse for many years before starting her daycare so has seen and dealt with all sorts of concerns from parents and is incredibly patient. The daycare itself is very well managed with just a handful of children (3mths-2years) and before each day we submit our baby's temperature to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all the children. Thanks to this system we've never had any sickness picked up from care which is amazing!

We've been sending our son to Miss Glynda's daycare since he was 4 months old and we love it. Glynda is so supportive of his development and he's turned into such a confident little boy and is picking up skills so quickly. Glynda looks after the children here like her own and cares deeply about them and their health. We couldn't have picked a better day care.

We have also met all the other parents and children and it is a brilliant community. Please note we have never ever seen a Tom G at this daycare as per the below review.

I was not happy with Glynda. She might have been a good care-person at one time but we had to leave for another school because she was always drama and I don't think she should be caring for children anymore considering her age. Also she demanded anal probing of our daughter every day for her temperature (seriously -not joking).

My husband and I connected with Ms. Glenda immediately during our 1st meet and greet. We knew right away she would be patient and loving to our daughter. She is extremely knowledgeable in early childhood development and offers suggestions that has benefited my daughter. She provides a safe, clean, and comfortable environment to her children. I love all the precautions she takes to prevent her kids free from getting ill. I am so thankful with the decision for my baby to have one to one care in a home setting. Our family trust Ms. Glenda with our daughter and that is always a wonderful peace of mind.

Being first time parents my wife and I consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have found Glynda's daycare. Our daughter was 8 months old when she started with Glynda and in the 4 months since then she's made incredible progress in establishing a sleep schedule, eating schedule, eating solid foods, staying healthy, and overall becoming a better communicator. Glynda is incredibly helpful in pointing out small details that make a big impact from things as small as suggesting a larger diaper size, to changing formula brands to make things easier for our daughter to digest her food. As first time parents these small suggestions are incredibly helpful. Our daughter loves attending daycare and we rest easy knowing she's in good hands.

As a first time mom, I was so worried about finding a daycare. We are so happy and thankful we found Glynda! Her experience as a former NICU nurse made us feel comfortable right from the start. Glynda requires both babies and parents to be up to date on vaccinations, and has several other heath precautions in place to make sure the babies stay well (which gives us peace of mind, especially with COVID still around). Glynda also helped get our daughter on a schedule and she's been an amazing napper and sleeper since she was 4 months old. Glynda truly cares about each baby and they have such a special bond with her. Our daughter has a great time there everyday and loves Glynda!

We have had such an amazing experience since our daughter started at Glynda's and cannot say enough good things about the exceptional level of care she provides! We'd previously been at a larger chain daycare and of the 4 months our daughter was enrolled, she was only present 4 of those weeks due to constantly getting very sick. We pulled her out and decided to look for a smaller, in-home daycare with stricter health policies (including required vaccinations, which was important to us). We found that and more with Glynda and our daughter has not gotten sick even once! It's also been incredibly helpful as a first time mom to rely on Glynda's expertise and know how (she is a former NICU nurse). Our daughter has absolutely thrived on the schedule Glynda has the kiddos on (she takes great naps now)! We're so grateful to know our daughter is in the very best hands and has such a great time playing and learning with her baby buddies. She has the biggest smile on her face when I pick her up and it sets my momma heart at ease to know she's so happy there :)

Glynda was an absolute Godsend for us with our first baby! Finding childcare in the midst of the pandemic was a nightmare and we wanted a provider who we knew would do their best to prevent any illness. Glynda went above and beyond and has become family to my husband and I. Our daughter, Eleanor was always excited to see Glynda in the morning and would even cry when it was time to come home! She loved Glynda so much. I always knew Eleanor was in the best care with Glynda. We moved out of state which is why we are no longer using Glynda for care, we did try to convince Glynda to move with us to no avail! :) Thank you Glynda for loving our Eleanor!

Glynda has been such a blessing to our family. Having a baby during the height of the pandemic, we were worried about finding someone who took the health and safety of our family seriously, while also providing exceptional care. We are so lucky to have found both with Glynda. She goes above and beyond your average daycare provider. My son struggles with severe acid reflux, and Glynda was the first person to spot it and was an advocate for him to get professional help. Glynda has also helped put my son on a schedule, and he was sleeping through the night after the first week he went to her. My sister and her sister-in-law now take their babies to Glynda because of the way they have heard me rave about her. I would 1000% recommend Glynda to anyone who is looking for quality, like-family childcare.

My wife was referred to Glynda by a coworker, and we could not feel more fortunate about that. The care and attention she provides is nothing short of top-notch. We have twin girls that were born at the onset of the pandemic, and Glynda adapted quickly, ensuring safety measures (like temperature checks, outside hand-offs, etc..) were strictly followed. This resulted in no instances of COVID, or any other outbreaks for that matter, which was obviously reassuring for us. Her years and training as a former NICU nurse put us completely at ease, knowing she can handle even the most demanding of situations. Her insistence on feeding healthy, whole foods to the girls is beyond appreciated, as she had them eating fish and broccoli as soon as they were able. They now prefer whole veggies over almost anything else, even their first tastes of pizza! I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention the constant learning that Glynda fosters for the kids with the environment she's created. The toys she has available encourage mental and physical growth, help develop things like hand-eye coordination, and are made of more natural materials, often wood, rather than flashing brightly and making a lot of noise. This and the way in which she interacts with the girls, and allows them all to interact with each other, has meant the girls have developed exceptionally fast. They're very "talkative" and engaged with people around them and each other. They're always happy and smiling when we pick them up, and excited to see Glynda at drop-offs. There's not much more I can say, short of Glynda being an absolute godsend! You'll always feel comfortable and confident leaving your child in Glynda's care, and I couldn't honestly ask for much more than that as a parent.

I heard of Glynda's day care and was excited about all the wonderful things that I heard about the care she provided. After meeting Glynda in person and getting to tour her day care facility (pre-covid), I was so excited to pay the deposit to hold my spot. Glynda's home is immaculate, has several dedicated spaces for the kids to play and sleep, as well as a fantastic backyard for the kids to play in. I appreciate her dedication to health, safety, nutrition, and providing a nurturing, but structured environment. My son was supposed to start with Glynda when I returned to the workplace. but was not medically able to start daycare until December of 2020. My mother had been his primary daycare provider up to that point, and could no longer help me so I called Glynda. I was hopeful she would have a spot available and didn't even bother looking elsewhere. I was very concerned about having my son in a daycare during the time of Covid and having a medically fragile family member at home. Even prior to Covid, Glynda demonstrated a commitment to ensuring the health and safety of the kids she cares for. We were so lucky she had a spot available!

I do not worry about my little one when he is in Glynda's care and I do not worry about him bringing something home from daycare (like I would with a big, expensive facility) because of her dedication to health and safety protocols. It was tough for my son (and me!) to adjust to daycare after being at home for a year and she was very patient with both of us. She helped me get my son back on track with weight gain with healthy foods at her house and lots of great advice for me. I've seen such gains in his milestones since he's been in her daycare. I highly recommend Glynda as a caregiver.

My daughter has been cared for by Ms. Glynda for almost 2 years now. Those 2 years have been wonderful and my daughter has thrived. I am completely confident that my daughter is safe, happy, and loved while in Ms. Glynda's care. Everything is always in order and Ms. Glynda stays on top of things. You never have to doubt everything is as it should be. Her advice has been invaluable- she is upfront and you are never left guessing or wondering how things are going with your child. Her home has been set up well- there are places to play, sleep, and eat. We love that she feeds our daughter good foods and stays away from sugary/processed things. She follows the same schedule with each of the babies every day. I really like the in-home environment and the small number of children- enough so that there is opportunity for socialization, but not so many that there is still plenty of individual attention. The small size and in-home aspect has been especially nice during the pandemic, as we had much less to worry about since it was easier to coordinate to have all families take appropriate precautions. My daughter loves her time there and says "yay!" and smiles when she gets dropped off in the morning. It truly is her second home and Ms. Glynda has become family.

Our Daughter has gone to Miss Glynda's for almost 2 years now. I can't imagine anyone taking better care of her. Glynda is a health food fanatic and only gives the babies healthy, homemade food with tons of fresh veggies and fruit. Most of the bigger daycares feed the kids lots of pre-packaged and carb rich foods, so they get fussy when you try to get them to eat vegetables. Our little girl actually prefers veggies because she gets them every day.
Glynda's home is really safe for little ones too. She's got a written plan for all sorts of what-if's, and because she was a nurse there's no problem she can't handle. During the pandemic, she quickly enacted some rules to prevent an outbreak - temperature checks before coming in, parent drop-off on the porch with masks, and zero-tolerance policy for coughs and fevers. We had no COVID scares or outbreaks, which meant we could keep our daughter in daycare so we could work.
Glynda has the kids on a routine starting on day 1, and within a few days we started seeing the results. Our daughter started sleeping better, and when we stuck to the routines on the weekends she was happier and less fussy.
After 2 years Glynda feels like a member of the family, and we know that she loves and cares for the babies like no one else could. Our daughter loves being there and looks forward to going every morning. Words can't describe how valuable and wonderful Glynda has been for our daughter and helping us out as new parents.

If you are looking to ease your mind in putting the care of your child with someone during the pandemic, then look no further. Glynda has cared for our twins for over a year and we have felt so comfortable and grateful. Our twins were born early and were in the NICU for over a month and so with them being preemies, we were hesitant to put them in anyone else's care at all. After speaking with Glynda and knowing she had been a retired NICU nurse and also had cared for twins before, we looked no further.
+One of our twins initially had trouble feeding from a bottle and within the first week, Glynda had her comfortable and drinking every ounce! This obviously helped us at home as well, and it was not the first time Glynda helped the twins developmentally to get where they are today. +Starting them at 16 weeks in Glynda's care and even being preemies, they hit their milestones early.
+Our twins both also had to have doc-band (helmets) for plagiocephaly for a few months and Glynda was so accommodating to ensure the babies were comfortable throughout the whole process as well.
+Health: During this stressful time of the pandemic, Glynda takes all precautions to ensure a healthy and happy environment. Our twins have not been sick once and if there ever is any issues with any others, she is extremely transparent and honest will inform you of any occurrence.
+Diet: She helped get one of the twins to adjust to bottle feeding, provides healthy food and snacks only. Our twins are over a year old now and are the least picky babies and believe we can attribute a lot of that to Glynda (they love fish, veggies, and fruits!)
+Baby issues - She worked with us if either of the girls got a diaper rash, or any other issues that needed extra attention. They've healed quickly and attribute that to Glynda's care and consistently staying on top of the babies changing.
+Activities: We LOVE that Glynda provides age appropriate activities to the babies (reading, music, play room to explore, nap room) etc.. The twins come home happy every single day and we honestly have never had an issue with dropping them off or picking them up. The girls are happy to see her every morning. You also do not hear any screaming or crying, the environment is very chill, educational, and fun.
- The downside is Glynda cares for children up to two years old and once our girls are two, we are going to have an extremely tough time filling her shoes.
