Spanish immersion program. Our program is designed to promote healthy growth and development of the whole child (social, emotional, intellectual, physical and creative development). We believe that children learn best by doing. Therefore, our classroom is planned in a way that encourages each child to become active in areas called centers. In the centers, children may work alone or in a group. The centers include dramatic play, block building, art, science, reading, music, manipulative, sand and water. Each week there is a theme. The classroom follows a schedule every day. The daily routine helps the children feel more comfortable at school because they know what to expect. We are more than happy to encourage potty training as long as the child is ready. Please feel free to come and go at any time throughout the day to visit your child. We provide nutritious, balanced meals following the guidelines of the USDA for children. We provide breakfast, lunch and snack daily. Parents of children 15 months and younger are required to complete an infant feeding schedule form as well as provide formula already prepared. All bottles and tops must be labeled with child's name and date. All children are supervised at all times by staff members and there is a supervisor or designee at all times as well. Both with appropriate training to care for your child. (CPR, First Aid, SIDS and others). All staff has a medical statement, references and mandatory criminal history check report on file. Daytime and overnight, seven days - open (24/7). Our primary goal is to provide quality childcare in a warm, safe, friendly and multicultural environment ensuring bilingualism, integration, understanding and intercultural respect. We are licensed and comply with all applicable licensed regulations and standards.We believe that these standards are in the best interest of the children. Our home is subject to inspection by state and city health, fire and licensing officials. We provided quality care for infants 0 weeks to 5 years old. Before and after school care is provided for school age children 5 to 12 years old. When parents participate in their child's education, it greatly increases the child's attitude towards learning and improves our program.
