Acorn Academy opened last spring as an Eco-friendly in-home daycare, located at 3060 Watts Farm Road, Charlottesville, VA 22911. We specialize in early childhood development, licensed and insured for up to 12 children. We provide top-quality childcare for infants and toddlers year round at a rate of $250 per week (or $50 per day for part-time care). Nurturing caregivers supervise children at a low caregiver-to-child ratio of 1:4. We serve healthy, homemade meals and snacks. Our nature-based learning program offers hands-on, age-appropriate activities for children to explore their natural surroundings. Each day, children create art, read books, and learn through play in an Eco-friendly environment, both inside and outside. I believe Acorn Academy is a unique opportunity to teach young children how to grow in harmony with nature.

I, Rebekah, am a caring, patient, creative, and playful childcare provider. With over 15 years of working with children, I have extensive experience within this industry, including infant, toddler, preschool, and special needs care. I have an interior design degree from Appalachian State University, as well as CPR and First Aid training certifications. My husband and I have a 2 year old daughter and an infant son. Now that our family is growing, I operate a small in-home daycare business out of our home.
